Organic Slippery Elm Bark Powder

I’m surprised at the results of slippery elm. I have reduced cravings and I feel more satisfied. I don’t test my blood so I can’t say that it normalizes my blood sugars, but that’s the way I would describe the feeling that I don’t have highs and lows. It’s more stable. I am more regular, I drink water. There is no flavor and dissolves easily. I like to let it set up till it gets thick and it gives me the feeling of drinking bubble tea. I would strongly recommend this as long as you can consume extra water. If you have any problems between your throat and your exit zone, this will coat and soothe and protect the problem until it heals. There’s an author named Barbara O’Neill that I like watching and she strongly recommends slippery elm No unusual smell taste and only one ingredient.

Slippery elm

I absolutely love this Slippery Elm. Dx with Gastrointestinal issues 6+ years ago,taking Rx as instructed by my Dr every day,several times a day and STILL had Gastro issues. I decided enough was enough and after some research decided that I needed to try a different course of action. I now have been Rx free for 2 months, can eat Almost normal and bathroom issues have improved greatly. No pain or adverse reaction. I use 2 of the tiny scoop that's included,warm to hot water,mix and drink. (Becareful not to burn yourself with your hot water,make it drinkable) No grit,No after taste,No problems. I feel this Slippery Elm has a neutral taste to it. I have added it to my Green Tea at times with no difference in taste. I highly recommend this Slippery Elm and will definitely be ordering another bag when the time comes. This is just my opinion & experience. Please check with your own Dr before you stop your medication.

I drank this for three weeks with hot water, cold water, in a smoothie. Every morning and every night. I no longer feel like my stomach is inflamed, my Gerd is almost gone. I still watch my diet and eat small meals to make sure everything stays on the healing and healthy side. I don’t want to push it too soon. Thank you for this organic product.

micro ingredients company website has no additional information using their product. reviews on their website say this product comes with a scoop. mine did not. additionally trying to figure out how much 700mg is is time consuming. 700 mg is .14 tsp. soooo try to figure out how much .14 tsp is now. good luck. the amounts posted here are way too much. and i can see that the manufacturer doesn't monitor or communicate the correct information to their customers either. it seemed like it would be great. it's organic too. but i am very disappointed that i have to jump through hoops to get basic information to use a product like this. this type of stuff gives me red flags about a company. additionally i have read comments on amazon where it hurts peoples stomach, well perhaps it's because they can't get the measurement right and take too much. also there are 648 servings. at 700mg it means we take a very small amount but what is this amount......? nobody knows in English. 1/8 of a tsp is 0.125 tsp and 700mg is 0.14 tsp. so the measurement is a tiny bit over an 1/8 of a tsp. which is about the size you will find when you take capsules. so my next question is...... if we only need 2 capsules from a regular product that dispenses in capsules then why are we consuming such larger quantities. wouldn't the capsules work?

I am new to using slippery elm. When I purchased this I thought to myself this would go fast as it appeared so small when it arrived (16oz); I ordered this, oddly enough, for my wife, my cat, and myself - so you can see how easy it might be to judge this amount at face value. For me, I've become less tolerant of some foods that can, once in a while when the planets align just right, lead me to have some indigestion and some heartburn (the straw that broke the camel's back and induced me to find this was inhaling a few tacos drowned in guacamole and an entire cup of red sauce). Being not the kind of individual that would take a drug for that I immediately found a lot of talk of slippery elm. Too many benefits to list but I will just say that this provides immediate relief if taken to counter the onset of heartburn and is now something I will take daily for all the benefits it provides. Micro Ingredients' slippery elm is extremely fresh, well packaged, and is miles better than any tincture out there. This product is safe for cats and dogs as well - just be sure to look up recommended dosage per your pet's weight and start small to test.
