Bellroy Venture Ready Pack 26L (with luggage pass-through)

Really great backpack, I use it for my commute: it fits a pair of shoes, gym kit, toiletry bag and laptop (tight squeeze but it fits!) Exceptional quality and super comfortable to wear.

I was looking for a bag that I could use whilst walking the dogs to carry water my camera another small items, this is a nice size bag. It fits nicely on your back and when not in use as the photograph shows it squashes down nice and small. It takes a nice water bottle on the side and there’s also room inside the bag to have a secondary water bottle, it’s not a waterproof bag just a weather resistant bag. Zip work smoothly and it’s nice that you can just open the top section to take things out of the bag without having to open it all up.

Firstly, this pack has the usual Bellroy build quality, which is to say it’s very robustly built. Things that I like include the lack of a waist strap (they make sense for hiking but are just an annoyance for a commuting or light travel pack), the removable sternum strap (again, not really necessary for most use), the excellent quality weather resistant zips, the quality fabrics inside and out, and the internal pockets which are useful without being excessive. The laptop sleeve holds a decent size laptop or two; the double main zips run right to the base of the pack which means it can be folded fully open for packing as well as allowing a small opening at any point you choose; and the loops near the zippers make good locations to clip the zippers to for added security (though I think they’re primarily designed for pulling on while zipping the bag closed with the other hand). It’s comfortable for me; I’m 6’4” albeit with more leg than body, and I can’t speak for the fit on people with short backs. Not so good are the external pockets: there is one small zipped one which is hard to access and outs items in the small of your back; and another open one which is not elasticated and fails to hold things properly. Initially I thought the lack of compression straps would be a problem when the bag is only partially loaded, but the fabric is thick enough that actually the bag softly holds its shape without everything rattling around. So, while it’s not perfect—it really needs a better pocket for a water bottle or other external item—it’s still the best pack I’ve found for most day commutes and overnighters.

It’s an exceptionally good backpack however, if I had know that the version two was going to be released shortly I would have waited

Acquistato a circa 160€ come zaino da lavoro e devo dire di essere rimasto molto soddisfatto. Innanzitutto ci tengo a precisare che non è stata una scelta semplice, in questa fascia di prezzo ci sono dei prodotti validissimi sul mercato, ma perché scegliere questo? I motivi sono stati vari: -Resistenza all'acqua: viaggiando molto può capitare di bagnarsi e avere la garanzia che la mia attrezzatura sia al sicuro è molto importante -Suddivisione degli spazi: questa è più un gusto personale ma trovo che la divisione interna e esterna di tasche e spazi sia d'avvero ottima -Estetica generale: presentarsi da un cliente con uno zaino troppo vistoso spesso non è buona cosa, l'estetica di questo zaino d'altro canto è perfetta per ogni situazione -Qualità dei materiali: le zip sono ykk, le regolazioni degli spallacci in alluminio e il tessuto dello zaino è spesso e rigido Ma ci sono anche alcuni lati negativi: -La tasca per la borraccia non è molto elastica e mediamente capiente, una borraccia termica da 500ml ci sta giusta, qualcosa di più grande comincia già a starci stretto -Per una maggiore inpermeabilità le zip sono rivestite in gomma e possono risultare un po' dire da aprire soprattutto quando lo zaino è nuovo -la maniglia superiore non è enorme, avere una presa salda richiede un po' di attenzione, cosa che può risultare frustrante a volte Come già detto tutto sommato sono soddisfatto, forse se preso a prezzo pieno avrei valutato altro ma per quello che l'ho pagato è difficile trovare di meglio.

This is one of the lightest backpacks of its size with perfect (minimalist) organizational layout. My favorite feature is the vertical zippered side pocket with the key leash - I store my work phone in there for easy access while I'm wearing the backpack. My phone always rings when I'm walking part of my commute and it's easy to access by reaching back to unzip the secure pocket.

A mochila está cheia de materiais de boa qualidade, mas é extremamente desconfortável nas minhas costas, espetando-se na zona lombar como se me quisesse ameaçar. O design é pouco prático, não permitindo que a mochila se sustente de pé, e com uma distribuição estranha de espaço, que não se adequa a mim. Pior, é uma mochila caríssima que é difícil de justificar fora os materiais de boa qualidade.

This Bellroy backpack is great. The quality is great, sturdy and easy to clean. Having multiple pockets outside and inside make it a great option for me. The backpack is not too big, so it make sit easy to travel with, specially when packing light. It's comfortable to wear. I carry a 15.7" laptop, an 11" iPad and a few other items.
