Pros: Very long. Will be great to get that Pro VI that no one else can reach Collapses to the length of a golf club Fits easily in golf bag Light weight Seems sturdy Can be used at different lengths short of the full length Cons: Very flexible, so can be difficult to greet the end centered on the ball (see video) Also can be tough to keep the ball in the grabber while retrieving, but this is easily overcome with a little effort Overall a great product. If you’re in the business of trading in your Topflite XL’s for Pro V’s from the water, this is what you need. I don’t spend much time on the fairway so this keeps me from sustaining heavy losses on the course. Will update if I have problems with durability.

After trying nearly every ball retriever over 50 years, the prowithlin Golf Ball Retriever is by far the best. You just sit the retriever over the ball and it captures the ball. The extendable rod is very easy to use out to 15', which is usually beyond line of site of a ball in a pond. The top of the retriever is rugged but will break offf if you hit it against a hard surface. The retriever is highly recommended.

The tubing on this product and its locking devices are very well made. The ball cup works well except when trying to retrieve a ball sitting on top of mud. All retrievers with this type of retrieving cup will have the same issue. Retrieving a ball sitting on mud requires using the ball cup somewhat like an ice cream scoop rotating by the cup to get under the ball. I got this product and the cup snapped off the shaft when putting the unit into my trunk. I wrote the company and they sent me another to at no charge stating the cup must have been damaged in the warehouse and this is probably why it broke off the shaft. This says a lot about how the company stands behind its product.

Husband loves this ball retriever!

This is the second one I have purchased. The orange round gripper broke on the first one, when I inadvertently hit it too hard on the ground to release a retrieved ball. The new unit, is just not very good. The telescoping sections are very tight and difficult to extend. The largest section is now permanently stuck inside the main tube and rendered useless. Additionally, the small black release "knobs" for each section are not put together very well and have now separated entirely. I typically use this unit twice per round and have owned the latest model for about 3 months. I will be purchasing another type of retriever, hoping for a smaller footprint in my bag and better overall service for the $$ spent.

Got for grandson when he practices at the driving range and he loves this product said it works great!

It was great until the head snapped off while trying to retrieve a ball without applying much pressure.
