I bought this item, because I had a new hip fitted, it just keeps your leg inside the bed, therefore not putting your hip at risk. It is a must, and left or right side so easy to fit. Excellent product.

This rail looked great initially, and it was easy to fit to the bed. However, 6 weeks later and the metal is bending - the rail no longer fits flush to the bed and the angle means it no longer protects me from falling out of bed. The return window has now closed, but this should have lasted much longer. Not sturdy at all and does not function.

Very well made , robust & does the job, easy to operate, & hides away when down. Easy to fit

Looks good and works well, but says it fits all bed types but you need two bits of board to fit to slatted bed, which are not provided. Should supply everything required to fit.
