Rough Country Hard Low Profile Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra 1500 (2019–2026) – Flush Mount Aluminum Bed Cover, Fits 5'10 Short Bed

Bought this for my 2022 Chevy silverado Custom Crew Cab. Last truck had a Roll-n-Lock, but didn't want to spend $1500. This RC Trifold was reasonably priced and had good reviews. Out of the box, initial impression was this is a quality product. Well packed, so zero damage. Install was pretty straight forward. Read the manual end to end before you start. That said, if you have a bed liner (truck came with drop in plastic liner) you will need do some trimming or modification to get the side rails to fit properly against the cab end of the bed. Leave every hand tight because you'll need to adjust the cover to make sure front and back (tailgate) are all sealed be rubber seals on cover. Did the install solo, and this can be a one person install, but a second pair of hands will make it easier and faster. Note the straps under the cover with the D-ring. They clip on to one of the tie down points on each side as a last point of safety if your main fastening points somehow come off. Overall its a quality product, fits well and looks great.

24 Silverado RST 6”7 bed Just received my hard trifold 6”7 bed cover the other day and was able to install it yesterday. Great sturdy cover that was well packaged in box. Install went very smooth I was able to install start to finish in under an hour. My biggest concern was the interior of my bed getting wet with these covers but RC seemed to have covered every angle of that. Rubber seals good, mounts tight and flush to bed rails, and once the cover itself was on it looks great! Not that it was an issue but id like to mention there will be about a 1/2” gap between the front of the side rails and the front seal across the bed, they send you more than enough of the weather strip to be able to seal these 2 front corner areas with no problem. All in all it was a great purchase and I’d recommend it to anyone!

We purchased this for my husband Chevy Custom and have been thrilled with its durability. It was easily installed by us and has done a wonderful job keeping all our things dry and protected through the worse of storms. It fit perfectly and was a great price. I would recommend this to any truck owner.

**1 year update, during my 1st summer with top im getting bubbling, rippling on the surface, it could be due to expansion of the black material and is not crazy noticeable but hopefully its just temporary. Great packaging if not the greatest packaging I've ever encountered. It came in perfect condition. Beware when folding over the keep ahold of each panel and not let it flop i didn't know this and the latch dug into the panel rubber and torn it. Take your time on install. Get rails mounted and the mock up cover before attaching it. It did need extra padding in the front corners but it comes with about a foot of extra weather stripping. Watch a bunch of YouTube videos since the instructions are not perfect and more help the better. Again you want it to sit evenly and latch at each movable latch point before lightening down. Sits a bit higher than id like bit for the half the price of the competition I'm good with it. I have not washed it or experienced rain yet but after filling g gaps and installing the supplied drain tubes I'm sure its good for my needs. Overall I would definitely recommend this cover. The tailgate no longer comes down automatically due to cover restricting. -update. Installed on a 2024 gmc sierra with multi tailgate. This cover is really keeping the bed dry. We had a major rainstorm and truck was parked, stayed dry with minimal water near the tailgate due to the multipro tailgate openings. Update #2 after owning it for 6 months I am still very happy with the cover. I would still recommend for the price. After I wash truck with garden hose I get a few tiny leaks in each corner but nothing to complain about. Also I think my mpg improved a bit too.

Great. Deals up perfect, no leaks. Pull down releases is best design I have found to open it. Handles in bed rail are still exposed to climb in bed. Looks great. Would buy again. 2015 Silverado crew cab std bed

So I bought both variations of this cover, the 3/4 bed first then full bed access versions. I was not impressed with either. The 3/4 bed access cover for 100$ less is listed as fitting 2019-2024 model 1500 GMC Sierra with Multi-Flex tailgate. It did not cover even 1/6" inch of the tailgate, it was at least 1/2" shorter than the full bed access which is 100$ more and that one covered at least a 1/2-3/4 inch of the tailgate. Now both were relatively easy to install BUT ease of install is not the issue, there are a few issues I want to point out. 1. Both covers leak BADLY. The 3/4 bed access cover did not leak as bad as the full bed access cover due to the mount at the front of the bed being an actual simple and decent design. The full bed access version leaked HORRIBLY. (See Photo) I filled up a cup with 16oz of water and it all drained into the bed. 2. Leak on full bed access is due to a terrible design to where the mounting screw for thew front end of the tailgate IS IN THE DRAIN CHANNEL! (See photo). They need a complete re-design of that screw mount placement to be OFF of the drain channel and not IN it. 3. The left side on the end of the tailgate was not flush to the frame due to the Multi-Flex tailgate bar (see photo) mount located in the truck bed (See Photo at least2-3MM). That can cause water to seep in from that end AND the locking bar was very tight on the left and I had to push pretty hard to get it to lock in place. 4. The drain plug design on the 3/4 bed access is plastic tap to fit and feels cheap. 5. The drain plug on the full bed access version is a much better METAL slip on hose mount. They seem well built but they are made cheaply at the same time, hence the 600-500$ less than higher quality Hard Tri-fold covers. I gave them 2 chances and both times they failed to meet my expectations so I am done with rough country.

It does what it’s supposed to do but the rubber seal has started falling apart after just a couple months.

Installation instructions were terrible. Product is ok but gaps at front corners let in water. It’s not supposed to be waterproof, so it’s ok. Looks good on my 2025 Silverado. I’d go a different route if I was doing it over.

Item does not latch correctly. Does not open all the way to secure against back of the cab therefore you are not able to utilize the whole truck box without removing it first.
