I ordered two of these for gifts and wish I had gotten a few more as they were a hit! they sound great and are nice and compact :)

Super cool mini steel tongue rain drum. Compact and portable, take it anywhere with you. Easy to play. Very affordable.

The media could not be loaded. This drum works nicely but the song book does not include songs I recognize. It comes with a nice mallet to aid in hitting the tongs and I think it has a nice sound to it. Well made and well packaged, this drum has a nice appearance and sound

I have this sitting on my side table, and the kids absolutely love coming to play with it. It comes with a mallet, but I prefer just gently tapping it with a fingernail. The notes are relatively in tune. It's a cute little drum.

This Mini Steel Tongue Drum is like the zen master of musical instruments, but pocket-sized. Perfect for beginners to professionals, it fits in my hand and brings exceptional tone and quality. I mean, who knew enlightenment could come from something that looks like a UFO landed on my coffee table?Playing it feels like summoning a meditative mood at the drop of a beat. It’s like having a personal concert of tranquility wherever I go. Now I’m the mysterious musician at every gathering, spreading calm vibes one “ding” at a time. Some have called my playing, "annoying." I took that as a compliment.

Nice sounding metal drum instrument. Relaxing and fun to play with. Each note space has a different sound very distinct, and also each note space has a different sound if you tap it high or tap it low so there’s quite a variety of sounds here. My only wish is that I did not have such a tin ear and had even a tiny bit of musical ability to help me better play an instrument. Not something that comes natural to me at all, but this is a lot of fun to experiment with for me and it’s relaxing as well. After just a little while I was able to play the beginning of “doe a deer.” It is fun experimenting to get the right notes and to keep trying. This would make a nice little addition to keep on a desktop.

I’m not a musician, can barely play a radio, but I thought this would be a fun little thing to have around. It sounds really good for its size. I’m sure someone more musically inclined could go to town on this thing, especially if they made thumbsticks (little drumsticks you slip on your thumbs) so you could play with the same movements as texting.

The media could not be loaded. It gives very soothing crystal-like tones, and the manual shows a few examples of how you play the music.But the drum has only 6 keys numbed 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 1". This translates to C, D, E, G, A, C".If this also has 4 (F) and 7 (B), it completes the one octave and many more music can be played.(There must be a reason for these selected notes.) It takes some practice to hit each note with the little stick and make clear and pure sounds (as you can hear in my video), but it's a lot of fun to practice and play this little drum.
