Very sturdy. I bought this for my 10 year old son. It has all the pieces required for school.

This is a solid set for high school geometry class. The items adjust well, the case seems durable enough to last all year, and the colors were what my student chose. I've bought several sets over the years, and this is the nicest one.

This set is perfect for a classroom setting. You get a lot for the price and it's good quality. Works great! Very easy to use! The compasses are nice and tight and don't shift while making an arc or circle, which is very important for geometry.
