Rio Brands 4-Position Backpack Lace-Up Suspension Folding Beach Chair, Multi Color

This low-rider beach chair is just the ticket for a day on the sand. Padded, backpack-style straps and a click-it strap to keep the chair folded closed ensure it’s easy to transport on & off the sand, lightweight but sturdy construction keeps you from feeling like a Sherpa lugging it on the beach and the chair is sturdy and comfortable while you are lounging in the chair. The pocket on back is super convenient for stowing birds and pieces from scavenging seagulls and the Velcro attached pillow is a nice add-on. Note: You do need to make sure the chair is completely reclined and give the legs a solid tug to colapse the chair when you are ready to call it a day. If you are too dainty to give it a strong enough tug, you may find it a bit frustrating to collapse the chair. This is not an Incredible Hulk situation but be prepared to put a smidgeon of effort into drawing the legs together. It will work out fine once you get the hang of it.

I have used it on the beach a few times. It is a very nice chair. I love the pocket on the back. It is big enough to put a smaller beach towel and other accessories in to keep out of the sand. It is nice to have the backpack carry on it so you put all of the items in the pocket and your hands are free to carry other items. It is lightweight and easy to set up. It is sturdy and is comfortable for a person who is 5ft to 6ft 6in.

We used to rent chairs at the beach but having these chairs are a much more economical choice. They are comfortable and lightweight to carry from condo to beach. Glad we have them.

When I opened the box my 1st thought, great I'm not going to be strong enough to pull out the chair. To my surprise was easy. Sometimes items are packed so snug its frustrating to the point you question yourself is it worth the aggrevation, you know ordering online. I'm happy :) . Then 2nd step was quick and painless, a quick snip w/ scissors and the plastic wrap came off easily. The chair was light as described. The striped beach pattern I loved the colors were bold & bright. Was easy to open a little hard to close. You do have to turn chair upside down & squeeze the bottom bars for the chair to close all the way. Which is necessary to be able to use shoulder strap. I loved the chair except for the chair does not go back completely. This chair stops 3/4 of the way. So I am returning it. Those who like to sit up at a 3/4 of an angle will love the chair. The 3 positions are good. Light weight so won't hurt your shoulders even if you have to walk a distance. Well built and very sturdy.

Initially when looking for a backpack beach chair I didn't realize how expensive they were. This was one of the most economical chairs I found with accompanying high reviews so I bought several.I am 6', 229 lb and the chairs support me well. They are easy to item and close, and the headrest is removable. The chairs have a nice high back so if you're 6'2" or shorter you should have no issue with back support.The chairs do not recline all the way flat, but I don't need that so it is okay for me. I posted pictures of position 1 and 4.Unless something crazy happens at the beach these chairs are great.

You can certainly buy cheaper beach chairs, but as with so many things, you get what you pay for. These are well made and easy to use. The straps that allow carrying the chair like a backpack are genius. Also I love the adjustable headrest and 4-position chair.

Perfect beach chairs I cannot live without! Love it has straps you can carry on your back to free your arms and so lightweight my boys can help carry!Very sturdy and comfortable also!!

Love this beach chair so far. I had 2 Rio Gear chairs over the years and they are the BEST! I still have them but they are faded (after over 10 And 7 years) and the zippers broke but still great and I use them daily. I am hoping this chair is made well and can endure years of summer use at pool and beach.LOVE RIO GEAR
