VEGAN Tuna Fish UnMeat 100% PLANT-BASED - Vegetarian Meat Fish-Free (Vegan Tuna Sampler Pouches (3 count - 15oz), in Sunflower Oil, Hot & Spicy & in Water))

I’ve been craving tuna fish for years since being 8 years vegan. I have made it out of chickpeas before but nothing like this. Celery, red onion, salt pepper garlic paprika and mayo. Delicious.

I made up a “tuna” sandwich with vegan mayo, lettuce, tomato, and mustard on large wheat bread.The sandwich was very good. You might be able to stretch a pouch to get 3 sandwiches out of it.I’m not sure if I’ll buy more. The price seems abusive.

The only difference- no smelly fishThe only negative is that it is a bit to wet so if you use a condiment it becomes soupy so use a paper towel to press.My cats will not stay away!

The UnMeat version of vegetarian Tuna tastes more like the real thing than any I have tried so far. The texture is also good. The only way I have eaten it so far is simply mixed with mayonaise.

I'm disappointed with this on a number of areas. The texture for all three flavors is unappealing. I'm a fan of plant-based tuna in general, but this is mealy and unappealing. The water-packed version is way oversalted, with the salt overshadowing everything (there is 610 mg of sodium, which is way too much). The sunflower oil one has a more reasonable amount of salt, but the oil makes the texture even less appealing. The flavor of the hot/spicy is slightly more appealing but even so, lags well behind other plant-based tuna I've had.It's edible, but with other better options available (often at a lower cost per ounce) I won't be getting this again.

I have never been able to find a good substitute for tuna until now. It tastes good and makes a good tuna salad.

Great product! Made it like I would normal tuna fish for sandwiches and my family didn't notice the difference!! Great stuff! Highly recommend for someone trying to change their diet. Won't miss the old stuff...
