Not quite perfect, but best lashes ever!
PROs: Lashes look much - repeat much - longer, thicker, darker and better separated than anything else I've tried, and I've tried them all. I've even had several people ask "Are those YOUR lashes?" BONUS: My lashes look darker for a day or two even after being removed, almost as if they'd been dyed. I do have long lashes, but they're pale, thin and sparse. In other words, invisible without mascara. But two coats with this mascara has been a game changer. Plus I've had no problem with flaking. So what more could I ask for? Cons: It IS hard to remove, probably more like waterproof mascara is (which I don't use, so I can't be sure). And it takes a bit of experimenting re when to add the second coat -- for really amazing thickness and coverage. And it definitely does much better when you use a lash brush for separation. Despite the cons, for me it's SO worth a bit of extra effort. Hope it does for you, too!

Takes Some Practice, But Worth It!
I’ll be honest, the first time I tried this mascara, I wasn’t thrilled. It’s a bit clumpy right out of the tube, and I had to spend a little extra time getting the application just right. But once I figured out the best way to apply it (light, careful strokes and wiping off the excess on the wand), it actually looks amazing! The best part? It stays on beautifully throughout the day without flaking or smudging. I’ve tried so many mascaras that end up under my eyes by lunchtime, but this one held up from morning to night, even through a long workday and a gym session. My lashes look full, long, and the volume is seriously impressive once you get past the initial clumpiness.

Great Mascara
I like this mascara, the color is great. The rich brown color looks great with my green eyes The price is also good. It's not the greatest for length and volume but I will buy it again

Messy, odd consistency and color, no curl effect. Sorry!
I was really excited to try this mascara. I have hazel eyes and anything with a purple-ish hue makes them look greener. But I’m not a big makeup person so brown with a hint of color is right up my alley. And it’s a Cover Girl mascara, so I thought it would be fine. (Maybe a dupe for a certain black honey? It’s not.) I wasn’t expecting magic. I don’t even understand the hype around their OG mascara that is always mentioned in “Best of” and “What’s in my kit” type lists/articles. (It’s truly beyond me. I find that product subpar in pretty much every single way. But I also loathe the one that is beloved by many, came out originally in a fat orange tube and was supposed to be a “blast”?) Hopefully, sharing my preferences will help you decide if we might like the same things, or if you think I’m tasteless in this arena and shouldn’t be advising anyone about makeup. Opened it and it seemed… not runny but definitely thinner than my favorites. It was messy. Withdrew the wand from the tube one time and the top of the tube had mascara all around it, plus the brush was absolutely overloaded with product. That happens all the time, I told myself and kept going. Trying to wipe some of the excess mascara off around the top edges of the tube was just making a bigger mess so I grabbed a few Kleenex and decided to gently press the brush between them. Thought that it would just take the excess mascara off. Very willing to waste product because there was no way to use it with so much mascara on the brush, and no amount of in and out was helping either. Turns out the brush has a beef with kleenex- who knew? Even just gently touching one side of it on a laid flat tissue caused the tissue to tear and the brush wanted to pick up fibers from it. I don’t know. I ended up carefully using paper towels, which was still a pain but eventually got the brush unloaded enough to risk putting it on my (almond-shaped, maybe that’s part of why I had trouble?) eyes. It goes on like ink, maybe a little thicker, but definitely wet. The ends of my lashes left product on my lids and the whole application was an exercise in patience— and disappointment. Too runny/wet. Ended up everywhere. Didn’t have the mainly brown but with a slight purple-ish, berry hue. It looks more like they added red? So maybe Burgundy Brown? And it’s definitely visible, as in noticeably colored. Whereas my preference is subtlety, I’d rather not have my mascara be a very visible “fashion”(?) color. It eventually did dry enough to not continue marking my lids. But it dries kind of stiff. And not in the “oh yeah this is going to keep my lashes curled for the evening” way. More in the, “it’s been a few hours and I have flecks of crunchy mascara underneath my eyes” way. The whole curl claim should be taken off the package in my opinion. I use an eyelash curler (Tweezerman, can’t urge you enough!) even when I’m not putting mascara on afterwards and I’d say my bare lashes hold the curl better than with this product applied. I’m guessing that the curved brush is part of the curl claim? But considering that there’s no curl effect, it just makes it an application method that I don’t care for. It just makes applying to lashes and lashes only more difficult. Of course, your mileage may vary! I’m sure there are some people who love this stuff and it looks amazing on them. I’m just not one of them. Hope this helps someone! Probably mainly for those who have been searching for a new mascara HG and already have multiple full tubes that they hate. 🙋🏻♀️ If that sounds like you? Please trust me and just skip this one? Think about how much you’ve already spent? (Then go get yourself some Dior Show or Lancôme, it and you are worth it!)

Not for sensitive eyes. Waxy texture
Love the wand shape. Love the color. NOT for sensitive eyes. My eyes looked completely bloodshot and unfortunately I had to take it off. Texture is very waxy and will clump. Didn’t run when my eyes watered like crazy lol!

Does not smear to under eye
Item packaged nicely and securely. Able to take product out of package easily. I comment on this because I have wrist challenges and sometimes difficult for me to open up packages. When I removed the tube from the bottle, the tube was not goopy and the mascara came out clean and smooth. Have worn the mascara several times and no smell at all. I live in a desert area and am challenged with mascara smearing on my bottom lashes. Because of that, I will often only put mascara on my top lashes. Mascara went on great and did not have high hopes when I put mascara on bottom lashes. Wore mascara all day a few times, along with going out in the heat and the mascara help up well. There was no smearing for the bottom lashes and I am actually doing a happy dance about that. I can’t believe finally came across mascara that does not smear. As for the op lashes, the mascara gave me length and volume. Not overly dramatic, but happy that I can use as every day makeup. At the end of the day, when I washed my face, mascara came off easy with warm water. No side effects, no itching or flaking. That is the reason for the 5 stars.

I’m very fussy with which mascara I use this one didn’t irritate my eyes and really does give nice volume to thin eyelashes & stays on doesn’t flake off

I bought this instore a while back and loved it. Perfect berry colour to match my hair. Just opened the new one from Amazon and it's way more brown. Almost no berry colour. I guess ill buy it in person next and see.

My go to. Will smear but also can come off as tubing mascara should.

Clumpy and smudges. I do not recommend. The one star is for the look of the mascara wand only.
