The design is top-notch. However, the battery concerns and the concerning hollow bolt design (where the battery lives!) are things I would like to see In never versions. But even with those concerns the benefits the core functionality of smart lock and the ability to retrofit existing doors.

This is a seriously premium lock! After an incident including the pet sitter losing our house key it was really important to me to find a smart lock that I could lock and unlock remotely. This has been a game changer! I am not only able to lock the door from my bed at night but I am able to digitally give my pet sitter access to our home! Now there is no key to lose! Installing was easy (even though I was very nervous about it) and I was able to do it by myself with ease. The app feels sleek and well thought out. I’m obsessed with this lock and will be recommending them to all of my friends as they buy their first homes!

Man, I so wanted to love this. No big key pad, looks like my old lock, AND it was in brass to match. The actual lock installs fairly easy but after that it is a nightmare. If you can get the app to connect to the lock, it never fully locks or unlocks. I followed the guidelines and all measurements were perfect. Yet it won't function. It was just an error message it wasn't completing the lock. Then the second piece for wifi access never actually connects to your wifi. It just says "updating". I had this system for almost 30 days with prayers I could get it, nope. It is almost the most expensive lock yet too - how can it not work??? Don't bother calling the Level tech support - ha!

I've been trying to change our my front door lock for a while and been wondering about smart locks. I finally bought this and I love how convenient is it. I can just use any smart device, like my phone or watch and it'll unlock the door. I also paired this with Alexa and I can always just tell Alexa to lock my door anytime. I also like how it comes with a spare key, in case batteries dies. The lock itself is pretty sturdy as well. The door doesn't really budge when it's locked and it looks hard to open with force. I would recommend this to others.
