I love this base for my crystal globe that has etched hummingbird in the glass hovering over a flower. My old base died because the batteries had leaked over time and it wouldn't work any longer. This one is so much better than the cheap base that came with my crystal. It has an outlet for a micro-mini usb cable so I can plug in the provided cable (which was too short to reach my wall outlet) or as I did, I used the 5 ft. cord I bought for my Kindle Fire and plugged it directly into the usb port on my 5 outlet wall adaptor that has a usb port on top. Now, it is plugged in all day with no batteries and I get to watch it cycle through all the colors. It is beautiful and more than I could ever ask for. Love this!!!

The crystal globe of the Milky Way goes from an interesting object to a strikingly beautiful eye-catcher! Cycling different colors (Blue, White, Red, Green, etc.) in quick or slow changing modes or select the color that you desire and it will stay steady on that selection. The ONLY problem I had at first was it only requires a soft touch on the pressure switch and I was pressing down vice just touching it, my fault but be aware if you should purchase this item. Another plus (at least to me) is that it takes normal AA batteries or a USB cable so it's easy to change out. Have no idea as to durability yet so left that question blank.

Ordered a Galaxy Lighted Ball but the small battery only lasts a few minutes. So decided to order either a plug in or usb light so it can be on all the time. This one caught my eye because it had a recessed area to hold a rounded object. Plus it had a light switch in front, so I did't have to remove the globe (fingerprints), turn over the stand to turn it on or off. It also has battery capability but I want to be less wasteful and didn't want to keep throwing away batteries. I had wished it had an electric cord but USB is okay for where I am keeping it, by my main PC. Love it!

This little light base does a nice job of lighting my glass snowman. It has different colors and they all look good. Info advises to touch the button lightly. That's very important. I do not know about durability since I was careful to only light it a few times. For me, this sweet little colorful base certainly exceeded the price of others at $40 - $50. It is just the right size for the little snowman and it works very well for me.

I ordered this crystal cube online and their light up stand costed 36.99! So as you may see this light stand is worth the money and has different settings. You’re able to change it to a standard solid color or have it switch which the 36.99 one only stayed one color. I’d say buy it!

I wish I could give this five stars. When it works, it's lovely. However, maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I can't get it to stay on when I use it with the battery. The only way it works consistently is when I use the USB plug with my computer or plug it into the wall. The is the second type I've purchased, hoping to have a better experience this time, but it turned out exactly the same as the other one. It works for a bit, but then a few days in when I turn it on, it only stays on for a few minutes and then shuts off. I change the battery and the same thing happens. I can't imagine it needs a new battery every two days, but if that's the case, then I wouldn't recommend it.

So I got this for my globe and it’s fantastic the perfect size! For what I wanted! Price is definitely higher then I wanted to pay! The only thing I don’t like is you have to use batteries 🪫 and no option for plug 🔌 in!

It works for my spheres and does what it said it would do. Was delivered when it was to be delivered. I have a wooden light (not bought here) that I like better because of the smaller hole. This light base shines light from the whole top and therefore the light "surrounds" the big spheres instead of looking to just come from the sphere. It has some beautiful colors and works well for what it is intended. I am using the usb cable, provided, and have not tried it with batteries.

The top surface has a concave space in which the crystal ball can rest without rolling off.
