Why did you pick this product vs others?: The brand and style

I absolutely love this Mary Frances "Catch A Wave" bag! I have only had it for a couple of weeks and have carried it with me seven or eight times. Wherever I take it, people stop me to ask about it. Everyone loves it and wants to know where I got it! Twice, people who stopped me in stores and restaurants have whipped out their phones to order one on the spot. One saleslady told her associate about my bag and the associate came looking for me in the store. Before I'd finished shopping, she'd put two Mary Frances bags in her online shopping cart: one for her and one for her sister. The colors of this nostalgic VW-style van are beautiful and vibrant and, surprisingly, go with many summer outfits. And the details on the bag are gorgeous. This is my fourth Mary Frances bag--the first one I've purchased in 15+ years--and it holds more than most of the other bags. Of course, you wouldn't describe it as "roomy", but it is adequate for the essentials: phone, keys, lipstick, cash and cards, comb, breath mints, sunglasses, readers and tissues. With all these items, it takes some careful arrangement, but I’m happy to not have to leave essentials behind. That makes the bag usable everyday, rather than only for limited, formal events. This bag is definitely my favorite Mary Frances. The only "drawback" is that it attracts so much attention that I sometimes leave it home just so I can have an uninterrupted evening out with my husband! It's pricey, but I'm so glad I got it!
