UPDATE: Rita on ESR’s Customer Care team contacted me and offered a full refund and free replacement by expedited shipping. The second set of screen protectors are clean without any scuffs or foreign debris. Very satisfied. Updated my review from 3 stars to 5 for their superb customer support. ESR is a great company as always and takes product quality and customer satisfaction seriously! I used to buy regular ESR screen protectors for all my devices until a year ago I tried their Armorite protectors on my iPhone. From my experience Armorite is much more scratch-resistant than the regular protectors - actually not a scratch on my phone at all so far. Therefore, I bought Armorite again for my new 13” iPad Air for enhanced protection of its large surface. Upon opening the box, to my surprise I noticed some dirt and scuffs on the top piece of the two protectors – to be exact, on the bare glass surface in one of the four cutout slots of the top protective film. This seemed strange to me given it's Armorite and the box was intact. Secondly, foreign materials were also trapped between the glass and both the top and bottom protective films around the edge where you would first peel off before installation. Not sure if it’s due to shipping but the debris looked like loosen specks from the product box itself. Though the QR code for the setup video doesn’t work, installation was easy. Had some bubbles after the 1st attempt due to the debris mentioned above, so I lifted up the edges and removed them with the dust removal sticker provided and laid the protector back down. Took me an extra 10 minutes or so but finally successful without any bubbles or debris after 3 attempts. While the protector looks great and is of good quality, its edges are sharp and not rounded like those for my iPhone. I prefer curved edges which are smooth and nice to the touch. Usually ESR’s products are of top quality yet this is the first time I’ve received scuffed screen protectors with dirt and foreign debris from them. I’m slightly disappointed. Hope this is just a rare incident. (pictured is the second piece of the protector set)

I have bought several of their products and they have never let me down. Great quality and always easy to place on the product. I have never had an issue with an bubbles when applying. Definitely recommend and will continue to buy when needed.

I rarely write reviews for stuff I buy, unless there is something exceptional about the product, good or bad. This screen protector is exceptionally good and I couldn’t wait to write a review for it. First, the installation video (QR Code on directions) made it super easy to follow along and know exactly how to install the protector. I’d much rather watch a video about how to install it rather than read directions. Written directions are provided for those that prefer that method. Secondly, the installation kit is top notch. It was foolproof, as long as the screen is cleaned properly and all dust particles removed. The tray and lock in features on the screen protector made it the easiest installation ever for my 12.9” iPad. It really is slick and lined up perfectly. I’m blown away by how well the tray and alignment features secure the perfect fit. So simple and easy to install! Lastly, the protector has a very smooth feel to it, perfect for using my pencil on it without getting stuck while gliding across the screen. Fingerprints are virtually non-existent. I have the same Amorite protection for my phone and I haven’t had any fingerprints on it for weeks at a time. I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s true! It feels very nice when scrolling, or playing a game where you are swiping a lot. They only drawback is the glare. Because it is so clear and smooth, you will have a glare that the iPad screen itself reduced quite well. Not a problem indoors or at night, but noticeable if you use it outside quite a bit with low screen brightness. The glare is well worth the trade off for the smooth, premium feel and ease of everyday use. I’ve owned several screen protectors and I can’t recommend this product enough! Easily the best I’ve purchased when considering the installation process and feel of the product. Well done ESR!

By following the instructions and using the included application tray the process of applying the screen protector is virtually foolproof. I bought this for my iPad Pro 13” and applied it easily in one try without the usual bubbles and failed attempts. An added bonus is that fingerprints are way less visible than on other screen protectors and you get two screen protectors. I highly recommend this product.

the screen protector was easy to install. It provides just enough protection. It does not negatively impact the visibility. Fits the iPad Air perfectly. No bubbles. barely noticeable thickness.

Really great protector!

Like another poster, I waited to open my new iPad until I received this screen protector. Even though the screen was fresh and untouched, I followed the instructions exactly as shown in their video. I even put in a new pair of nitrile gloved to be as “sterile” as possible.Unlike the video, there were some bubbles. I tried using a credit card to smooth them out, only to find a couple of specs of dust or lint in-between the protector and screen. I lifted the protector from a corner and used the sticker provided to remove the specs. Unfortunately, this allowed the protector to attract multiple specs if dust/lint. I tried using the sticker to clean the protector, but didn’t work. Since this is a two pack, I removed this one and started over, but experienced the same issue. It’s still on my iPad, but there are 3 or 4 blemishes and the corner I lifted up to re-apply will not stick to the screen. Also. I question whether these are really glass. They’re flexible, unlike the AT&T brand tempered glass protector I have on my iPhone. Bottom line: very disappointed and recommend you look at a different product, as that is what I will do.

If you just wanna know if this is a good screen protector - yes it is! If you want more insight as well as some tips on this product and its application keep reading below. First off, quality and application - the setup they provide is the best of any screen protector I've used for any product; IPad or otherwise. The actual screen protector is of good quality and clarity as well. When you're a applying the protector remember to be patient, it took me a total of 30 minutes from the time I opened the package to it being applied like others said you should run a hot shower to minimize dust mites in the air. I literally went into the bathroom and applied it on the floor! lol Second the application process, the application kit is so good because you don't have to worry about lining anything up and you can completely focus on making sure the screen is clean, doing both at the same time is almost impossible! Keep the dust removal stickers handy they are your friends, use a phone light to see the screen better for dust and lint. The humid air from your shower should minimize this. After the application use your microfiber to press out any easy bubbles. A tip - I got 1 piece of lint that caused a air bubble stuck near the outside of the protector, I lifted it up with my nail and kept my fingers on the edge of the protector so not to get finger prints underneath then used my lint sticker to get the lint up, reapplied the protector. Another tip - if there's a bubble that has no lint that you just can't seem to press out use a blow dryer to heat it up a bit and repeatedly press it towards the edges. In closing, great screen protector and application kit, have patience!

I have never found a screen protector such as this one, I had installed few in the malls and other mobile shops. But this is the best one I have ever got, you can install the protector by yourself at home and it came with a pair of two. The quality of the protector and the touch feel amazing. I strongly recommend it.

This was my first purchase of ESR products and I though it was great and easy to apply the glass onto my ipad. I also like the fact that it come with two protective screen covers. So I ordered a magnetic cover also. I shall rate that soon.

Update: I contacted ESR support regarding my issue with the screen protector and feedback, ESR support refunded my purchase and sent me a replacement glass for me to try. ESR really went above and beyond to address my issues with this product. I am now satisfied with the replacement screen protector and all is good with my iPad. Original: Wow, ESR normally makes great products, but the Armorlite screen protector for the iPad Air 13 was clearly rushed to market. Let's start with the positives: 1. The screen protector came nicely packaged. 2. The glass is thick and of the same quality as other Armorlite products. Now, let's get to the negatives: 1. The glass is the wrong size - it does not fit the iPad Air 13" as well as other ESR screen protectors. There are gaps, which might be acceptable since many people use screen protectors, but because the alignment tool is useless, the gaps are different sizes on each side. 2. The alignment tool is all but useless. Awful design, as others have stated. The iPad does not sit securely in the alignment device, making it hard to align the glass. This is one of the worst alignment tools I have used. 3. The instructions are poor - they make it seem simpler than it is, but only because the alignment tool is bad. Did I mention the alignment tool is bad? It's as if ESR guessed the size of the iPad before releasing it, as there are no tabs or divots to secure the iPad. It just slides around in the tray. I don't recommend this product yet - wait for the next iteration when ESR releases a proper alignment tool. Very disappointed.
