easy set up
This is by far the best Camera system I have ever used, i will buy another set to replace a system i installed 5 years ago in my primary house. This system currently is replacing the lake house camera system that i also installed 5 or 6 years ago. The Aosu camera system is very easy to set up, has many features, and completely wireless, the camera is quite heavy and on the larger size for a camera but i would imagine it is due to large battery capacity? It looks well made, the solar panel is not to large, i don't know how long battery will last without charging or how long it will take to charge the battery by solar but batteries come charged and ready to use, i didn't have time to install solar panels yet and cameras have been running 4 days without solar panels connected. The furthest camera is at least 100 ft away from the main unit and camera works fine. I highly recommend Aosu camera systems, i like the tilt and 360 rotation, just be sure to calibrate after mounting in the preferred location. Another nice feature is you can set up default position for monitoring; the camera will return to that set location after you have tilted or rotated the camera. I have been so disappointed with my other camera systems , ( and i have purchased at least 6 complete systems since i purchased my first home ) and i can honestly say that if i took all the best features from all my past camera systems, they still would not compare to what Aosu delivers in features and ease in setting up. Also available are special mounts for vinyl siding that requires no screw holes in siding also corner brackets that allow one camera to monitor two sides of the house. Also no subscriptions, Very happy with this solar camera system from Aosu. ordering another for my primary home.

Very high Quality camera- feature packed!!!
Excellent quality full of features- solar powered, WiFi connectivity, wireless, AI enabled, motion detection with following ability, camera rotation 360-degrees, has lights that come on at night, microphone and speaker, alarm siren, 4k high definition clarity, zoom in, animal detection, easy setup, and reasonable price for subscription ($152/year for pro plan equals $12.66/month. We were amazed at how easy and feature packed these cameras were. I also found corner mounts, so they are mounted on each corner of my house, and with the 360-degree rotation I can see all around my complete house. We feel much safer now. It’s so nice to be able to see day and night (night vision is crystal clear color or back and white)

Great picture but many other problems
After seeing so many positive reviews, I thought I purchased this security camera package. I’ve been using it now two weeks and so I’ll give you the lowdown of my experience. So let’s start off with a positive. Picture is very good, set up is pretty easy, and it comes with Storage. OK, those are only the good things I like now here’s the list of the things that need improvement, the distance from the cameras to the hub is very limited. I have a camera that 70 feet away in the rear of my garage and I get very very poor signal and very poor interaction with the camera. Also, the camera seemed to reset themselves to a random default view and that doesn’t hold. They also do not detect all motion occur occurrences, and when they do the amount of footage that they take is only about 10 seconds nowhere near a minute. This system is good for a small house but not for an average size house. Also Customer Service is pretty good as they did pick up the phone when I called them, but there was no instructions at all available which is a big negative. Also mounting these cameras is limited to only vertical surfaces, which can be a problem specially if you have overhang and cannot access the Sun directly with the solar panels. And so far, Customer Support has not had any solutions to the problems I’ve been having. I’m about ready to return the camera cameras

Solid Semi Off-Grid Cam with Great Video
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this up in May after finding out Google Nest will no longer be supported (which I dropped way too much money on a few years back). A friend of mine had a few AOSU cameras and liked them, so I figured I’d give it a go. Ended up grabbing four different models to try them out, including this 360 cam with the separate solar panel. First off, the camera quality is great. The picture looks crisp, even at night, and the built-in light is super bright when it kicks on. It also has solid night vision if you want to run it dark. Motion tracking works too, though it’s maybe a bit too sensitive sometimes. I get alerts from bugs and cars on the road that are nowhere near my actual driveway. I kind of miss how Nest let me highlight zones to manage stuff like that. As far as I can tell, this camera doesn’t do that yet (unless it is only included in the subscription). One thing I like a lot is the fact it records to a microSD card (I ordered a 128GB SD separately). It only uses Wi-Fi when I check the live feed, so it doesn’t choke up the network like Nest cams always seemed to. And even though AOSU makes it sound like you have to subscribe to their cloud service, that’s not true. I skipped the subscription and haven’t lost a single feature that I've noticed. Just be aware, if you do go the cloud route, it’s charged per device, which adds up real quick. I think it was like $7 a month for each camera or $27/month for a 5-device plan. Personally, not worth it. I specifically wanted this camera to mount on the north side of my chicken coop, but still face the solar panel to the south. The separate solar setup worked perfect for that. It gave me enough cable to run the panel about 8 feet away and still had about a foot left over to bundle. The camera itself has a little 18-inch pigtail that connects to the solar cord, which was nice. It’s about 50 yards from my Wi-Fi router and I’ve had zero signal issues so far. It’s not perfect, but it’s been reliable, sharp-looking, and fits my needs. I’d say 4 stars mainly because the motion alert setup could use some improvement and that subscription pricing is kinda wild. But for the price, especially if you catch it on sale, it’s a win.

Amazing Video Security System
Bought the aosu D1 Max, 4-Cam Kit in response to my next door neighbor's house being vandalized without a security video system. He immediately bought this same item, installed it within an hour, set it up and had it running in a couple of hours. He showed me how it worked and I was amazed. So then I purchased the same, my neighbor assisted me with the same results. I am amazed at the customizations in the settings and how smart the cameras are. The tracking is adequate, zooming in on live feeds is satisfactory, manual controls lag a bit, but overall the system is easy to install, and easy to tweak to it's features. Two of the cameras on my house are in an area that receives constant shade, but the solar panel catches the ambient light to keep the cameras charged. The night vision appears to capture everything. I also like the ability while in "Live Mode" to turn the camera light on so that the images are color, to be able to speak to someone through the camera, to be able to hear sounds. I'm looking at adding an additional outdoor camera as well as an indoor camera. This is an excellent value. I even installed a 512Gb micro SD card for storage. No subscription required.

Update - great customer service, 4k video, tracking, local storage
Update - Ann from the Aosu Support Team was amazing! I reached out about the battery drain issue and she very politely sent me a replacement camera and let me keep the old one. I ended up putting that one somewhere I could just plug it in and all 3 are now working flawlessly. The cameras themselves work great. Amazing 4k picture quality, tracking works well, good field of view. The audio isn’t great but I don’t really need to hear much. Wind noise drowns everything out. Night vision works perfect with 3 modes. (Battery life is great on one of the cameras but the other camera seems to use more and the solar panel isn’t supplying enough energy to charge it to 100% during the day. ) - Solved! I’ve tried moving it to better location and even switched the cameras around but it seems that just one of them uses more battery no matter where I put it. Same settings and everything. That’s why it gets 4 stars. I like being able to locally store my video but they make it a little inconvenient if you don’t pay the monthly subscription by sending a notification for every little movement. I don’t need to get notified of every car passing, but I can’t turn it off unless I pay monthly. Overall it’s a good camera system, great if you don’t mind paying the monthly fee

Great camera, Amazing customer support.
I got three cameras about six months ago, and I have been satisfied with the results. The images are clear, and I don't have to worry about charging the camera. The features offered by the cameras and the accompanying app are amazing, and I would highly recommend them. If I had to critique something, it would be the tracking ability. BUT after reviewing other cameras, I found that this one has the second-best tracking. So I think the indurstly as a whole is not quite there yet. I feel like the full motion feature is best used in backyards or front yards, but I wouldn't recommend it for narrow pathways. I have a skinny side entrance, and if you walk quickly, the camera can lose track of you. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me since I have the camera positioned to monitor the side gate and the side door entrance of my house. If you plan to use this camera to follow people, it needs to be in a large, open area; otherwise, it may not work effectively. However, that wasn't the primary reason I bought this camera. I wanted it mainly for the ability to rotate so I could inspect my fence or look around the property. I did receive one faulty camera that I didn't catch within the initial 30-day return window, but the customer support was excellent when I called about the warranty. I want to give a special shoutout to Nicole. She was incredibly responsive and always replied to my emails within 24 hours or sooner—definitely a 5/5 experience. As for the specific issue with the faulty camera: around the 4 month mark, I noticed that one of the cameras was consistently draining its battery. At night it would be at 100% change and then in the morning it was at 80% charge even with no activity. Then one day in the morning, it dropped to 10%, prompting an alert that it needed charging. Initially, I thought the issue might be due to the solar panel's positioning because the other two cameras were charging just fine. So, I moved the solar panel to a similar location as one of the other cameras, knowing it was a good spot, but the problem persisted. After contacting customer support and going through some troubleshooting steps, we discovered that it was a battery issue. The battery would fluctuate between high charge to low charge % in minutes, never showing a gradual increase in charge %. While the other cameras would stop charging when they reached 100% through solar, this one kept charging and never attained a full charge unless plugged into an outlet. Nicole was awesome throughout the process and sent me a replacement camera. I would 100% recommend this camera even after this experience.

While the camera quality is good, access to the camera's from your PC requires 3rd party software.
I was looking for a security camera system Wireless outdoor that was also compatible with my current security system. While it is supported by Google and phone app for viewing, I would have hoped for more access by other security systems. I will say the quality of the picture of the cameras are very good.

Great tracking and image quality
I've been really impressed with these cameras so far. The movement detection and tracking work very well, and the camera follows movement smoothly without constantly losing the subject. The image quality is clear and detailed, both during the day and at night. Battery life has also been good. Another thing I really like is how easy they are to add to an existing setup. The installation and pairing process was straightforward, and they integrated easily with my current base. I also appreciate that a subscription is not required to use the cameras. You can use the essential features without being forced into a monthly plan, which is a big plus. Overall, a very solid camera system with good tracking, clear video, decent battery life, and an easy setup. Great value for the price.

So Far So Good.
Researched this camera and many others and decided on this one because of the features and the price on Prime Days. The camera was easy to set up and holding a charge I will see how it operates when the winter arrives but working good now. I wanted a camera that would track and this does a fairly good job not perfect but acceptable. I like the 360 view when you want to look around and the feature that returns the camera to its set position. The AI seems to work fairly good a lot of less false alarms than other cameras I’ve used. Time will tell but so far happy with my purchase.

FAR Superior quality than eufy (been eufy customer since years)
I replaced eufy camera package with this solar AOSU security camera which is an excellent upgrade because it offers far superior motion tracking, crisp image clarity, and the added benefit of color night vision. Its smart AI filtering effectively isolates events containing people, cars, and pets, successfully eliminating annoying false alerts caused by shadows or miscellaneous movement. While the cameras require a strong Wi-Fi signal during initial setup, they perform reliably afterward even on weaker connections. Physical installation is straightforward thanks to the included mounting accessories. Overall, this entire AOSU camera system delivers a heavily upgraded experience specially coming from eufy customer since years ! Must recommend to anyone who wants premium quality solar camera !

Excellent Upgrade in Clarity and Overall Experience
I have used aosu products for quite some time and have always been a big fan. I have previously used around 5–6 aosu cameras, including doorbells, so I was already familiar with the brand. After using the C9S13, I can honestly say this feels like a significant upgrade. The first thing I noticed is the 4K picture quality. The clarity is noticeably better than the previous versions I have used, and the amount of detail you get from the camera is excellent. The 360° coverage and auto motion tracking are also great features, especially for covering a larger area without having to worry as much about blind spots. The night-time performance is probably my favourite improvement. The white light/spotlight and full-colour night vision produce an incredibly clear and bright picture at night. Being able to clearly see what is happening rather than just getting a dark or grainy night-vision image makes a big difference. I am also very happy with the motion detection and notifications. Notifications have been coming through without noticeable lag, and the combination of AI detection and the motion sensors helps make the alerts much more useful. The camera can also automatically track movement, which works really well when someone moves through the coverage area. The solar charging is another feature I really appreciate. It removes the hassle of having to take the cameras down for charging every now and then. Having the flexibility to position the solar panel separately is also useful when the camera itself is not in the ideal position for direct sunlight. I am currently using 2 C9S13 cameras with the aosuBase, and I really like what the HomeBase adds to the overall system. Being able to view multiple cameras from the app and having cross-camera tracking makes it much easier to follow an event when someone moves from one camera’s area to another. I have also added a 128GB storage card, even though the system came with a 32GB built-in. I know the subscription plan offers some great additional features as well, but I personally really like having local storage through the aosuBase. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the recordings are stored locally at home, including protection against losing the footage simply because something happens to one of the cameras. The fact that the system can continue recording to the HomeBase even if the Wi-Fi connection goes down is another feature I really appreciate. The 2-way audio, spotlight and built-in siren are also nice additions that make this feel more like a complete security system rather than just a camera. Overall, this is much more than just an upgrade in resolution. The combination of 4K clarity, excellent colour night vision, 360° coverage, auto tracking, smart notifications, solar power, cross-camera functionality and the aosuBase makes this a very impressive system. After using several aosu cameras and doorbells over the years, I am very happy with this new generation and would definitely recommend the C9S13 to anyone looking for a capable outdoor security camera system.

Great camera and great customer support
I originally purchased this camera back in 2025 and it did everything I needed it to do and with clarity. Unfortunately, the battery stopped charging at 25% (keep in mind, this camera has ran every single day on a solar panel all hours of the day including our harsh winters where temperatures drop to -30°C). I contacted AOSU Support and Ann was quick to look into my problem and provide me with assistance. I provided video proof and it was determined the problem was the battery was faulty. With the 1 year warranty AOSU offers, Ann was able to send me the same but new camera. Overall the customer service experience was quick and easy and they will ensure you’re satisfied with your purchase.
