My wife bought this light for the laundry room. And it is perfect. Although it is all plastic construction, it looks really nice and is easy to install due the light weight. And upon inspection after unpacking, I found the first thing I like about it; the inner circle fan cover is removable for easy cleaning of the one piece fan blades... which also is removeable!The installation was made easier with a 'tether cable'... after installing the base, the cable on the base can then be attached to the light unit. Then you can connect the wiring without having to also hold the light!! Nice feature... perhaps it is also a safety feature?? To keep the light from falling should it somehow detach from the base?!?!I connected it directly to the existing electrical wires which goes through wall switches. And found the next thing I like about it. After connection, I turned on the wall switch and the light came on. Just the light, bright setting. Perfect. It will still be a light just in case the remote 'walks away' !!!For other locations, the remote will be nice for adjusting the light and fan 'from the couch'. In my small laundry room, the light switch is at arm length so it is not 'necessary'... I would have opted for a 'remote' light switch panel to avoid the remote from leaving the room!!!.I like the many remote settings for both the fan and the light.There are light buttons for 3 preset Kelvin Color Temperature, adjustable Kelvin and adjustable bright/dim. The preset night-light button makes the light soft and dim. The One Minute light off button in nice feature. Hit that and one will have a minute of light to exit the room and the light will turn off afterward.The fan has adjustable speed and can be changed to up or down flow. The Wave setting will change fan speed randomly to simulate natural breezes. The fan is fairly powerful and quiet... not too loud on highest speed.The light and fan are separate... one can be on without the other being on.And one last button, the 'All Off' will do just that.Overall, I am quite pleased with this purchase !! It is a lot better than the old fluorescent tube lights that it replaced.

I bought this for my son's room and absolutely love it. It's stylish, you can control the settings to where you can have like a night light or a bright light. The fan works absolutely great. You can have it go fast. You can have it go slow. The bright is bright. The light is light. It looks like we're going to be having this for the next couple years. I'm so happy with my buy. The remote is perfect. Haven't had any issues. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for durability in light/ fan.

Gives the room that little extra cooling. Room is 12X14 and we usually have the fan on low. Modern looks and great lighting options. Love that it uses a remote. Great addition to summer.Set up was easy except that the deadman hook was so long that it was hard to connect the ground wire without an additional person to help hold the light.

Works great for my sons bedroom, nice and quiet and the night light feature is nice

Really great buy. The fan is great for small areas. I placed fan in my kitchen and it is great. It keeps the area cool and throws a lot of air. Love it!! It is better than my other ceiling fans in my house. The fan cools the kitchen and the cost of the ceiling fan is great not expensive at all. The fan is not loud and I love that you control it with the remote control. You can reverse it when the weather changes at a touch of a button. It is very powerful and built with quality. If you are looking for a ceiling fan this is the one it is very functional.

To be fair, the damage could have happened during transportation, but the box was intact.Opened to find that the control box had a broken screw into the fan housing. There was enough of the stem to resecure it, but....yeah.Instructions for wiring it in are really poor. There is a yellow wire on the control box. What does this do? Who knows, not in the instructions. Control box has it as "fan". Just connect live to live and the other one to the other one....When I did get it wired up, only half the fixture lit up. Sigh...guess we'll be returning it.Poor quality materials. Poor instructions for installation. Poor all the way around.

Very happy with this purchase. I love the different fan settings, and the natural settings as well. Great circulation of air for small rooms, and it's compact enough that you won't hit your head. My only complaint is the lighting. It feels like an interrogation room light setting, even with the different modes of lighting. With that being said, it does completely light up the room, and provide good lighting and different options. Couldnt be happier with my purchase

Love the fan part but the remote don't work very good at all. Won't turn on light. I have read the instructions and I find that the remote doesn't work good at all. Would not recommend it .
