Great all-in-one for aging health
This review is for the Bayer One A Day Multivitamin proactive 65+ for men and women. I purchased these to give to my father-in-law. He is 72 years old and his wife passed away recently, so we had him move in with my husband and I so he's not by himself. His wife always had his health in check so we're trying to continue that for him now that she is no longer here. First, what makes this so great is its a formulated all in one vitamin with the key vitamins needed to help with aging once you hit 65 and up. This is great for people that already take medication and also for those that aren't on much or any, because its one tablet, you take it in the morning and you're done. No muss, no fuss! Easy to keep track of, and noone likes having to take a slew of pills every day, but you need the ingredients in this supplement so this all in one takes care of condensing that. The pill is pretty small, not like those huge "horse pills" some supplements seem to have, so that is good because I know my father in law can swallow these easily. These don't have a bad or bitter taste, and these don't make you burp up anything or taste any of the ingredients during the day after taking your dose. This is gluten free, and doesn't contain any artificial flavors or sweeteners, and doesn't have a bunch of fillers that help make up the pill either. This vitamin provides nutritional support in the areas that are difficult for your body to keep up with naturally or absorb from food once you hit 65 years old and up. This has Folic Acid, D and B vitamins, which help with cell health, converting your food into fuel, and in turn giving your body more energy and mood elevation. These are essential because at age 65 and up your body absorbs B vitamins much easier and better from supplements rather than from food. Vitamin D is harder to get from the sun as we age. Folic Acid and B vitamins aid with heart health and this will support healthy blood pressure. This also has 6 key antioxidants included essential for cell health, and Calcium, Magnesium, and Vitamin D of course for bone health. The recommended dosage is 2 pills a day, but we started off with one every morning for almost a week to make sure it could be gradually incorporated with his diet and routine. He is now taking the 2 a day dosage and has experienced no side effects. I know that it takes about 3 to 6 months to really start reaping the benefits of a supplement, and he's only been taking this for about 2 months, but I can already see the effects yielding positive results. On my end I can see his mood is elevated and happier, and he has a pep in his step. I know these are doing well for him and making him feel better because I don't even have to remind him to take these daily, he wants to take them! So that's a 10/10 for me in my book :) Also, I wanted to add, when he went to his doctor appointment for a regular checkup, all his tests and health are much doing better than 3 months ago and the only thing that has changed is he started taking this vitamin.

Best vitamins for senior
I bought this for my grandfather and he really likes it. He’s been taking it daily and feels healthy and energized. The vitamins are easy to take and include important nutrients like vitamin D, calcium, and zinc, which are good for bone and overall health. The 150-count bottle is also convenient and lasts a long time. A good multivitamin for seniors.

TWO A DAY
I am 66 years old. Anyone taking this product living in the US all of their lives that is at least my age has known this brand their entire ife. It was the most popular. I started taking these 2 years ago and still am. But while considering another brand and comparing the back labels......I saw the dosage for this is 2 per day. I assumed it was one a day for obvious reasons. As a child daily my mom gave me one of the little red ones. They later incorporated iron into it then they were yellow. I took them into adulthood then switched to a generic brand. The dose was always one per day. I'm not knocking the product but there are other senior multi vitamins out there that incorporate all that these do, if not more, same price same quantity and they incorporate into one tablet and the dosage is ONE A DAY. Check it out.

Two a Day? I'm thankful
I just started taking these today. One tablet after breakfast, the second one after lunch. Here is my take on this product: I know that taking a larger dose of water-soluble vitamins than the body needs will cause the excess to be expelled in the urine. Splitting the daily dosage over several hours could 'potentially' reduce the amount wasted. The tablets are considerably smaller in size to the Brand "C" I have been taking - much easier to swallow. Taking one twice a day makes it all that much easier. No stomach upset, like with Brand "C" (which happened even swallowing over 10 oz of water, and after a meal!) I don't take a blood thinner, but appreciate that the formula removes Vitamin K in case one is. Who knows if I will ever get to that point where it matters. At least I won't have to worry about a contraindication if I do. I would prefer to have Vitamin E included, but since I don't have a deficiency, I expect my diet to give me what I need. I take a multi-vitamin as a proactive, not reactive, supplement. I'm reluctant to "recommend" any medication or supplement to another. I can tell you that I am satisfied with this product, because it doesn't upset my stomach, I can spread the daily dosage over two meals, and the tablets are smaller because of this. I'm glad I took the plunge on my first order and purchased two bottles, getting a small savings, to boot.

The most sorry state. Not bubble wrapped. Don’t consider buying if you’re gifting the product.

the container proudly states "one a day" in large lettering on the label. However when you read the serving size, it says "Adults: two tablets daily". This is grossly misleading and false advertising
