My New Go-To!
This diameter is perfect for precision work โ thin enough for fine-pitch components and SMD soldering, but still has enough mass to handle slightly larger joints without needing to feed too much wire. The 63/37 alloy melts beautifully at a low temperature and gives that smooth, shiny flow I love to see. No cold joints, no hassle. The rosin flux core is just right โ active enough to get clean, bright joints on mildly oxidized parts, but it doesnโt leave If youโre looking for reliable, high-quality solder that performs like the old Kester stuff but at a better price, look no further.

Good value for money
I didn't want to write a review until I'd tested it extensively on various electronic and electrical soldering projects, and it really is a good solder at a good price. I'm not giving it 5 stars because there are other good quality options that cost a little less and offer the same quality as Maiyum.

Changed my outlook as a beginner solderer!
This stuff is a game changer. I have started doing small solder repairs to learn as I progress. I am starting on small easier things with an old radio shack solder iron. I thought my iron and skill was always a problem using the cheap solder I had on hand. Well this changed that. It tips the iron beautifully and flows like water right where you want it. It makes removing old solder easier and holds up well holding pieces I replaced. So far fixed a bunch of retro consoles and had success with every try using this!

It's great, but a "0.6mm" is a little thinner/smaller than I thought.
No problem with the item. It works as intended. If you're new, you have to know....0.6mm lead/tin are very thin/small. These are better for someone, who want to solder in a circuit board. I'm just a regular guitar player, who wants to solder speaker wires and connecting guitar wires (volume and tone pots, toggle switches, and output jacks, etc. For this reason, I would prefer getting something bigger, i.e., 1mm to 1.5mm. Other than that, this solder wire works nicely.

Perfect for electric guitar electronics.
I purchased this solder for installing pickups in an electric guitar. It works perfectly for this type of work. It has a low melting temperature and sets up fast. Another plus is the amount you get on a roll of this stuff. For small electronics it should last me for a long time.

High cospa!
I don't know why the price is so low for this lead rosin core solder. I love the size for circuit boards and it works well. No issues.
