PURITO Bakuchiol Serum for Sensitive Skin, 30ml

I’ve gone through 3 bottles of this already and have been really happy with it. I originally started using it while breastfeeding because I wanted a gentler alternative to retinol, and this worked really well for my skin without causing irritation or dryness. The texture is lightweight, absorbs nicely, and layers well with the rest of my skincare without pilling. My skin felt smoother, more hydrated, and overall healthier-looking with consistent use. I also appreciate that it feels gentle enough for sensitive skin while still giving that “active ingredient” effect over time. One bottle also lasts a surprisingly long time since you only need a small amount each use. I’ve used it mainly at night and had no issues combining it with moisturisers and barrier-repair products. My only downside is the opaque packaging: you can’t really see how much product is left, so the bottle suddenly runs out without much warning. A transparent strip on the side would make it perfect. Overall though, definitely one of the better bakuchiol serums I’ve tried and I’ll probably continue repurchasing.

I wouldn't be without a serum beneath my daily and nightly moisturiser these days. I was intrigued to learn from about Bakuchiol – it's a plant-derived vegan skincare ingredient which targets free radicals (and therefore premature ageing), soothes and hydrates and can reduce skin sensitivity. The box is pretty, in shades of pink and green, and this is a robust, chunky plastic bottle, strikingly dark pink in colour (I wonder if it's representing the plant it comes from), with a pipette dropper. The serum is fairly viscous, white and opaque. It glides over the skin really nicely – as with most serums, two or three drops is all that's required for face and neck. It feels instantly hydrating, rather like a moisturiser, a hydration feeling that lasts. However, it does leave a sheen on the skin. I don't really mind this on at home no make up days, but it might not be favoured by people who want to apply make up and achieve a totally matt finish. The claim is that this is fragrance free, and while I can accept no fragrance has been added, there is a smell. Without meaning to be off putting, it has a (mild) scent of nail polish. A bit of Googling suggests this *might* be an ingredient called acetyl hexapeptide 8, which is a synthetically made peptide with impressive anti-ageing properties (ie, the good stuff!). The smell doesn't bother me, and it doesn't linger, but I've never smelled a serum like it before. 4 stars because of the sheen and strange whiff, but I still like it.

Been using for nearly a year now, has massively improved my skins texture and appearance. I use twice a day and 1 bottle last me around 4-6 weeks.

I had to give up on retinol (tretinoin, retinal, retinol, all of it just irritated my skin too much) so wanted a Bakuchiol serum to try- and I’m so glad I went with this one. It feels lovely going on, zero irritation, and my skin feels smoother and plump in the morning. Lovely serum, at a great price.

Very gentle product, glides on skin, no strong odours from product, leaves a glassy effect on the skin and hydrates

I’m becoming more familiar with this brand and are now in possession of a selection of their products The serum arrived nicely packaged and contents were in a pipette style bottle. These are ideal for application and providing the correct amount, which is only a few drops. I loved the way the serum made my skin feel, it is non greasy and absorbed exceptionally well. I felt it instantly hydrated without residue and it left my skin feeling noticeably softer. The drawback for me is the scent, it’s not offensive but it’s not my preference and will take a while to adapt. I don’t particularly have sensitive skin although I’ve tested some products that have caused a reaction. This product was kind and didn’t produce any irritation. For me it’s important that skincare products are cruelty free and vegan and the serum meets those requirements. It’s currently 25.00 at the time of review, which is comparable with similar branded serums and company ethics and therefore I consider it to be value for money.

So far so good!!!!! I have super sensitive skin, but the Bliss niacinamide toner plus this product have changed my skin so so much. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all, like one bit, and my skin is notoriously touchy. It isn’t very sticky, like it fully dries down. Not much of a smell. I do feel like I’m rubbing splooge all over my face because of the color and consistency though hahahaaa

Me ha gustado mucho, es suave y sin perfume. Deja la piel brillante y tersa. Creo que es ideal como sérum para los ojos, para regenerar el colágeno se esa zona tan delicada ya que el retinol es demasiado fuerte y puede dañar las glándulas de meibomio.

Das Serum ist einfach einzigartig! Es fühlt sich so gut an auf der Haut! Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Auch für sensible Haut!

Vraiment très contente de mon achat. Des la 1er utilisation on voit la peau hydratée et un glow magnifique. Je vous conseille ce sérum. Yuka super bien noté

Di questo brand avevo provato già i prodotti base con un mini kit (detergente, tonico, siero, crema e crema solare) ed ho voluto aggiungere anche questo siero che per me è stupendo, soprattutto per chi vuole iniziare a provare un anti-age ma non si è ancora avvicinato/a al retinolo oppure nei mesi estivi quando è sconsigliato usarlo. In sostanza a me è piaciuto in termini di morbidezza della pella che appare più radiosa e luminosa, per gli effetti anti età vedremo dato che lo sto usando da troppo poco per capire, ma ad ogni modo lo straconsiglio! P.s. Ha un odore che potrebbe non piacere a tutti (tipo colla vinilica).
