TEGADERM Plus +PAD 3M Film Dressing 9cm x 15cm x10 Transparent/Waterproof/Non-Adherent Pad

I recently had a third Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (spinal surgery) where they went in through the side of my throat.These wound dressings are absolutely brilliant at protecting the incision, despite my beard growing for over a week, and they stretch along with the skin as you move with zero leakage. Even with my beard (I couldn’t shave close to the incision) no water got in at all, and the entire area remained dry.These are fully breathable as well - I had my surgery in the height of summer and was terrified of sweat building up under the dressing, however when changing it despite other parts of my neck being a bit damp the area under the dressing was perfectly dry.

I bought these through Amazon as I had found it difficult to find enough in a similar size locally. In hindsight, I’m very glad I did find this product. I was recovering from an operation and needed to keep the surgical scar covered for a few weeks, and keep it dry. These were far and away the best of any similar product I used.These are easy to apply, as you would expect of any similar product. Where these shine is that they adhere without coming loose. I had to peel these off after several days. While I was careful to avoid the area in the shower, I would expect these are also quite water proof. In comparison, other products I used would become loose after half a day. Of course, I would recommend avoiding a direct shower spray or immersion in a bath, but otherwise these should hold up well.I will buy these again if I’m every the unfortunate position that I’d need them.

I've found that an extended amount of time in the swimming pool or sea means that the insulin sensor and pod can lose it's adhesion - the tegaderm seems to the job in avoiding this. tegaderm plus means you have the pad, which is easier to remove as it doesn't pull on the pod/sensor itself. Easier to use then the normal tegaderm

I am currently using these to cover a large burn. Note that the padded area is not 15 x 9cm. Easy to apply and remove, yet stays on in the shower and keeps the wond dry.

Good quality wound dressings. Good price and arrived next day.
