Q: Hi, my husband wants a tortilla press, but i am concerned by the mixed reviews? do i need to find something "better"?

I would say yes. It works fine for what I use it for but doesn’t press flat enough for tortillas. Also the paint around the joint comes off and you don’t want that in your food. Hope that helps!

Found it too lightweight

Compared with my previous wrought iron tortilla press this was too lightweight and not as capable of getting a good press and nice thin tortilla as I'm used to.
