I'm a pool tech. Most tri-chlor products like the 3 inch tablets for example are 90% available chlorine. These granules are less than 50%. What the other ingredients are remain a mystery...

No measuring cup. Since we just use it in our spa, we just add a small amount and then test the water. However, if adding to a pool, it would appear that the ounces would be by weight, not dry measure.
