decent
really makes you re-think how big 3x3 can be, quite a piece of kit!can be used in different form e.g. lean-to or A-frame.doesn't come with cord for a ridgeline so bare that in mind.material itself is fairly durable and not afraid to tighten/ stretch it a little. woke up with damp on the underside last time I used it but that was most likely from the dew on the grass I pitched on.as for my first time owning a tarp along side with my bivvy, I'm quite content :)

Weighs more than my tent……BUT…..
I bought this as an insurance policy against tent damage caused by high winds to my ultralight hiking tent.I’m dubious about the tent surviving anything above a 25mph wind so wanted something to create a wind break or temporary roof to pitch my tent under to keep things as dry as possible while setting up.It’s perfect for that, durable, well made, rugged with great pitch points, etc. it is very heavy though, at over 900g or 2lb(ish).It comes with 4 steel wire pegs and 2 adjustable guy lines, which is nice. I swapped the wire pegs for 6x 8” aluminium ones, which weigh more, but I feel may function better in windy conditions. Just a hunch though at this stage.I can’t fault the tarp as a product, I’m just not looking forward to carrying it for a week at a time…….unless I need it often, in which case I won’t care of course.

Broke under tension
One of the center loops broke when brought under tension leaving holes in the stitching so now isn't fully waterproof, other than that, it's perfect

Built to last.
I bought this to replace my original that was loaned out and "misplaced" and so never returned. I love the versatility of a tarp and have been a convert for years. This one is light enough and small enough to stow but strong enough and large enough to cover. DD's waterproofing is second to none so I definitely recommend you get one, just don't lend it to a friend.

what I know and what is the unknown
Ok so I'm new to the product by DD hammocks this being the first time I have ordered a tarp for camping I like the theory of multiple use of a single product although I have set it up to inspect the quality I have not actually used it for its intended purpose mostly as a shelter from rainstorm I researched several other brands what mainly sold me was the numerous attachment points and the fact that the tarp has no grommets which can tear under stress cause of there weak construction and no reinforcement around them as with DD tarps have been tested and are used by many as for me it's a no brainer to recommend the product although I don't know anyone where I live that has this tarp as for the reason I can not say it was recommend by anyone

Tarp brilliant, buy your own pegs and guys
Firstly, the 4 pegs that come with this tarp are basically worthless, they bent immediately on use where my existing pegs were fine.I've given 5 stars anyway because really I am only rating the tarp itself which is faultless; it feels premium in material and construction; has plenty of loops for different orientations; and kept me dry through a violent thunderstorm - good value

The real open air way to camp.
You've come to right page. ..If you were looking for a real camping "Tarp" then you really need look no further. I already did the scouring of products and reviews, even checking the ones on YouTube.. Leading me right here. Delivery time was excellent, under 3 full days, and the packaging very simple. Not the oversized boxes most of us have experienced from Amazon. Two days later found me out in the local lightly wooded beauty spot to see how many different set ups I could put together after watching various YouTube videos.Astounding! ! Especially if you have a walking pole. The DD Tarps 3x3mtr comes with 4 guide lines and the product is just superbly made and very robust. Fear not, you will have to be really really vicious to damage it, and I think the tent peg would come out of the ground before you tore the tie straps. Great product at a fair price. I will recommend it to anyone.Don't forget these following items. Extra cordage, ideally 550 paracord, 2 x good bungie chords that stretch to 6ft, a waterproof ground sheet big enough for the occupant /s and gear. In other words it does not need to be the 3x3mtr of the tarp which you will see is quite large. Look up some Tarp knots on YouTube, they are easy, and enjoy your freedom of the countryside.
