Can it stay out in a cold winter with snow (Chicago)?

Ours survived the few feet of snow that we got this winter. I checked inside and all the cushions etc are bone dry, no sign of any moisture damage, mold etc. Pleasantly surprised!

Ours leaked a little. Since we use it to store relatively expensive seat cushions, we decided to do what one reviewer did and line the seams with caulk. Boy did we get lucky! I was at Lowes and saw a tube of GE silicon II (3-hr rain ready yadda yadda) in LIGHT GREY. I thought that it was a close match for this box. I caulked on the outside, 4 verticals, and 4 horizontals around bottom, the match is INCREDIBLE. It's like this caulk was specifically made for this finish. If I were Lifetime, I would include a tube of this caulk in every purchase. I will report back after the first good rain. AA

how difficult is it to assemble? I am not very handy.

Not too difficult if you read the directions carefully and watch the videos if you get stuck. Some of the tolerances are very tight and several times you have to get a screw through solid plastic, for which I used a drill to help. The final screws are almost impossible to install and I had to go buy longer ones to finally get it done.
