Yes, it's a valve.
Firstly for me there is nothing not to like about this valve. I wanted to break into my automated watering system to add some additional watering to our newly bought blackcurrant bushes. Super easy to connect to a garden hose (careful because sizes can differ) and so easy to set the amount of flow required. As a retired engineer I can say this is a well made item and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

Nicely constructed 1/2" valve.
A nice 1/2" valve thats well made. I'm using this valve for air to a pond air lift pump. No leaks so far, and has never seized. I purchased this to replace another make. This one works well, and no sign of trouble. Thank you.
