I grow most of our veggies and herbs in my basement under lights, and many of my plants are 3 or more years old. My collard green plants are 3 years old, and were in 15 gallon pots that they outgrew. I was having to water the larger plant almost every day with 2-3 gallons of water. I knew the plant was pot bound and I had to find a larger pot for it. Since it was in a 15 gallon pot, I decided I had to pot it up into a 25 gallon pot to give it more room for grown. When I checked prices for a 25 gallon plastic pot, they were all priced at $100 and more for one pot. I found fabric pots at $32.99 for 5 pots, so my next challenge was to find saucers with an interior measurement larger than 22". This saucer is 22.7 inches at the base, and the fabric pot fit perfectly with over an inch all around to contain water drainage. For my purposes, this plant saucer is perfect. When choosing a plant saucer, you need to order one that has an interior measurement at least a couple inches larger than the base of your pot. All of the saucers sold show the exterior measurement as this one does - 25"-26". The interior measurement is always smaller. You need to choose a saucer that the interior measurement is larger so the pot fits and there is room for water drainage. This saucer works best for pots with a bottom diameter of 22" or less. UPDATE 07/12/25: As mentioned previously, I grow most of our veggies in our basement under LED lighting. Many of the vegetable greens plants such as many varieties of kale, broccoli, and collard greens can get very large. Although these plants are usually grown as annuals, when grown indoors they can live, and be productive, over 5 years. When these plants are rootbound they don't do as well and also require watering almost every day. I have bought a few 25 gallon plastic pots for some of these plants, and these plant saucers are large enough to hold these pots with a couple of inches around them to collect excess water. I have added a couple pictures of Red Russian kale and Collards that I recently move to 25 gallon plastic pots. I hope this review is helpful for you.

I love these. Way nicer than expected with the lower price. Very happy with purchase. I've already ordered more in assorted sizes. Sturdy, well made & do not leak. This color was discounted, why I don't know, as I really love the pale green with the deeper green plants.

These saucers arrived in perfect condition and appear to be well made. They look nice for their intended purpose. I purchased them to put under plastic planters with attached saucers. The attached saucers were too shallow and could not hold the overflow of water when I watered my plants. Though I got the 10 inch saucers to go under my 10 inch wide planters, they work for my 8 inch wide planters as well. As you can tell from the photo, it’s only a little bit too wide for the smaller planter.

It arrived well packaged, but cracked when I put my pot in it as I lifted it over the edge; my planter is too heavy for these. They are nice, just keep in mind they are plastic, a medium thickness to them, not thin like most, but not tough or durable.

These saucers are really rugged, thick, heavy-duty not the flimsy saucers that crack and leak. These will last a long time. I love them. Everyone who has seen them when they arrived asked me to share the link!

I use these tubs to put critter food in during the summer months. Keeps the mess off my patio and out of the grass. They do not tip them over. I even use them as water bowls in the summer time when I need more water for the critters and do not need to use the birdbath heater. I would not recommend you use a heater with these as they are plastic.

I use these a lot for African violets. Perfect size for smaller pots. I like the green color, very pleasant. I have ordered these saucers before, in larger sizes and in black.

These are pretty sturdy! I’ve been using them once I received them I need to replant but the cost of larger planter pots are out of site price wise
