First and foremost, it does not sync with the app like it claims. If you miss a dose, the app will only allow you to advance a different dose. Meaning, if you miss your pills by an hour, there is no way to count that dose as taken. You can only tell the wheel that you're taking the "next" dose - which will alter the pill count. So, there really isn't a way to make sure the individual isn't missing doses. NOT helpful for people with memory issues. Next, you have to rely on the alarm sound coming from the machine. If the individual taking the meds is hard of hearing, this feature is no help. In our case, it woke up everyone in the house BUT the individual who needed the medicine. The app is not helpful unless you plan on checking the machine, in person, for every single dose. Finally, this machine is bulky and hard to handle if you have grip issues. In order to take the pills, you physically have to flip the device upside down. The alarm will not stop sounding until you have smacked it, HARD. NOT a great option for arthritic hands. Also, a great way to lose little pills. This caused us MORE concern about missed and even LOST doses. No one wants their dog, or baby, finding misplaced medication on the floor. Hard. Pass. Review: What a great pill disenser - This is a great, secure med deliver system for care of individuals who lose or misplace meds. Using the phone app, you can set and monitor delivery times. Med times can be set for one or several times a day. The app alerts if a med time was missed or taken on time. I made an anchor using very thin wire cable tied to a cabinet handle to stop a relative from moving the unit and it has worked perfectly. As long as wifi is available it works great, however, wifi power outages can cause a problem

Would like more flexibility in the daily schedule, ie, different schedule on the weekends

Works well, app is a little clunkh
The dispenser works well if set up correctly. The app needs work particularly if there are multiple people monitoring an elderly person.
