I needed these little crystals to show to children while doing tours on the finding of gold and fool's gold.

It was not pyrite as described, it is a quartz geode that was painted gold.

These stones pleased me. Almost all of my various gemstones are in natural form rather than all shined up. They are very beautiful to me, with less human interference. But, I decided I wanted a touch of gold shimmer and I am very fond of pyrite but the stones I already have are basically silver in tone. These pyrites were described as gold-plated and the photos showed them in that bright, sparkly form. Perfect for me and what I wanted to add to my other gems. The gold brightness of the tops of these pyrites isn't distracting but rather, in contrast, highlights my other gemstones natural beauty. Perfect for me.

Cheap, looked to be painted over rocks but just on one side of the rocks. Very very small.

These are pretty good facsimiles for gold nuggets.

Placed these around the house and the grandkids thought they found gold. Made our landscaping magical.
