Swagtron T580 App-Enabled Bluetooth Hoverboard with Speaker, Smart Self-Balancing Wheel

We’ve only had this for two days now but so far it is pretty cool! It is definitely much larger than I expected, you can see the size compared to my hand and feet in the pictures, I’ve seen some smaller ones and assumed this was going to be about the same size but it’s definitely a larger version, much more heavy duty, weighing approximately 25lbs. I would definitely recommend a carrying case since it is so heavy and awkward to carry. It does scuff up easily but that’s to be expected considering the type of toy this is. It did not come damaged at all, it was packaged pretty well, the scuffs in the pics are from my kids. It is pretty quick and does turn on a dime! It has pretty heavy duty tires, lights up just fine, no problems connecting to Bluetooth or the app. And the speaker works nicely too, it’s pretty loud actually and pretty clear. It’s not quick to charge but it’s also not terrible. If this is for a kid, I do recommend a helmet since it does turn on a dime and my daughter did fly off pretty quickly on a turn. Luckily she was uninjured. Safety first! Pretty cool toy over all! I didn’t notice any weird smells or any heat while charging at all! I will continue to keep an eye on it and update if I see any changes.

Well what to say, I am not really a hoover board expert, as I have only purchased 1 in my life, however this board has survived my kids and all the neighborhood kids that want to play with it so far, and were going on 2 months now, and this thing does not rest unless the battery just wont let it move or the kids are asleep or at school, so I would have to say it is pretty tough so far. So... now for more specifics... the battery does seem to last quite a long time which is nice, once the kids get home from school until dinner time they play with it and it seems to stay charged with no problems. It seems to be a little heavy to me but i don't know if that is a bad thing it does seem to be very durable tho. I would not consider this to be an off road use board even tho it does have rubber tires it does not seem to perform very will on softer surfaces. The lights are cool but seem somewhat pointless tho, if I had any complaint it would be the blue tooth speakers they do work as they should but the sound quality is just not there. Overall I would have to say its a good product and for the price I would recommend it. I hope this may help someone in their future decision making.

This is so much fun. I've ridden an older swagtron, and this one is much more responsive. I like the bluetooth feature, too, so I can broadcast my theme music when I dramatically enter a room on my hoverboard.Very heavy, seems sturdy. The app that integrates with it is a bit difficult to figure out, but if you push enough buttons, you'll manage. To get to the controls, you have to drill down through selecting your hoverboard model, go to the bluetooth icon, choose the device, and hit ok, then you'll be connected. If you don't do this, the controls won't connect.Included instructions explain pretty well how to connect the bluetooth speaker, it reconnects easily through power cycles, I haven't had to re-pair it.

This was my kids favorite Christmas present. My 12 & 8 year old absolutely love it. 1st one we have owned, have had it 4 days. The first time my 8yo got on it he was over confident and fell, but since, not one fall from either kid. Glad it doesnt have a bunch of flashing annoying lights. Bluetooth speaker is fun. Price is right for around $200. We just love it!

Bought it of the kids and they love it.

We have had the hover board since Christmas and our daughter loves it. The battery has so far has lasted longer than I thought it would between charges. We were concerned at first that my daughter was to small for the hover board because it would vibrate horribly when she got on it.She is 62 lbs and according to the product description within the weight requirements. We were able to stop the vibration by making her wear sneakers or boots while riding and by placing her feet all the way out to the side against the wheel guard. If she does this, there is no issue with vibration even on our hardwood floors.. The hoverboard is very sturdy and so far we are happy with our purchase.

This was a Christmas present for my son and when he got on it to ride it it vibrated pretty violently. So unfortunately he couldn't ride it. The next day we called Swagtron to get the process going to get a replacement. Firstly, the call center is horrid. It is almost impossible to talk to a live person. Once we did, he went through recalibration with us, which did not solve our issues. We got an email the day after we reported it and in that email we were told they had our RMA or whatever it is called in which we filed a claim basically and were asking for a new board. It said it would take 1 to 6 days to get a response. Which I think is a little ridiculous considering the amount of money spent on their products. A week later we received the shipping label. We shipped it that day which I believe was the 3rd. Still have heard nothing back so I attempted to call again today and constantly just kept getting sent back to the main menu. Again, their automated system leaves much to be desired. Finally decided to do a live chat instead and were told that just today, it is being prepared for shipping. I am sorry, but to me that is unacceptable. And I am sure that had I not called to make a fuss again, who knows how much longer it would have been. If this next hoverboard comes in not working, I will demand my money back and buy a different brand. So if you purchase this, hope and pray that it works and you don't have to deal with returns.
