Civivi goodness
Love this little thing. I have heard a lot of complaints about the blade holder screw, but as i EDC a cybertool which has a T8 driver, it's fine. It also allows the whole blade part be much thinner than a tool-free holder would be in general. Flipping tab and thumb stud opening are both 10/10. The utility blades it comes with are in stainless steel which make them edc friendly since they could survive being in a sweaty pocket without rusting. I don't know where to buy more of them though. Also, I've opened it 1000+ times now and stabbed it into wood etc and the blade is not loose still. Anyone who has heard of or had issues with the blade coming loose, remember: this uses a high-tensile stainless steel torx screw in a stainless steel blade holder. Both the bit type and material have torque in mind. Put a (small, don't go crazy, you CAN strip it still) amount of elbow power into it and I believe you won't have any loosening issues, even without loctite. It should be more than just finger-movement tight.

The perfect utility knife?
I really felt like this knife was a little bit overpriced when I went to buy it. I really wanted to get one that was good quality and had a good action to it, so I went with this one instead of a cheaper off-brand one. I'm so glad that I did. The The opening motion is very smooth and really pleasant to flick. The button release is also smooth and easy to use. I haven't had any issues with it coming open or loose in my pocket either. The other thing I really like about this is that the entirety of the blade is exposed for use, instead of just the last bit of it like in a regular razor knife. I won't be flipping the blade around to use the other side like I might with a razor knife, but that doesn't bother me at all this is an excellent way to use utility knife blades and I'm very happy with the quality from this brand.

awesome little knife.
bought this knife to leave at work so that I would always have a good knife there for when I needed one. but quickly I have found that it is more then just good for opening boxes or cutting plastic from a pallet. I love its smooth action, its button lock and I really like how its just a very quick blade switch away from being razor sharp once again. I haven't tried it yet but I am wanting to try and see if ceramic utility blades will work with this design.

Smaller than I'd like
Im giving 4 stars because of its size. It's a little smaller than I expected. Is a 3 finger grip Im disappointed it wasn't a little larger. The blade change uses a torx thats NOT included so hopefully youre a knife nerd like me and have some torx laying around. Otherwise it's great the action is smooth. Lock is secure and the build quality is on par with other civivi products I own. They do build some good stuff. Add a torx driver for blade changes and make the handle a 4 finger grip and this would be a 5 star tool.

Nice compact utility knife with great action
It is a very well designed utility knife. It has a very smooth action due to its ball bearing system. As for its design, the T-8 torx screw can be an inconvenience if you carry this knife for field work unless you have a T-8 torx bit included in a toolkit. Also, I would not recommend this for heavy duty tasks such as creating feather sticks or other bush craft/ survival type tasks. The knife was designed to be a lightweight utility knife with the purpose of cutting lightweight items such as cardboard, paper , zipties and other thin type materials. Attempting to perform heavier type tasks with this knife might cause the utility blade to work its way loose.

Best Box Opener Ever
I like knives. I have..well.. too many. Thing is, what do you do the most? For me it's open packages and boxes (Bezos should have me on his Christmas card list for the amount of Amazon traffic I generate). When it comes to that, this tool is the best ever. Solid. Button lock functionality. Well made. Feels like a quality tool. You can use one of the plastic break off blade type box cutters and those are actually pretty great. Cheap and work just fine. Some of the other styles work OK too but there's an emphasis on cheap. So, with those options, you don't get to use a quality tool to get into your box. To me, that matters. Bought more and gave as presents. Highly recommend.

Smooth action.
Awesome product they just need to sell replacement blades for it. They are way sharper than trading replacement blades. The assisted open is lighting fast and extremely well machined. The increased cutting surface allows it to cut through boxes like butter.

Best utility blade knife I own
I use my knife at work for cutting LOTS of rope, I mean LOTS both wet and dry, so I can dull a blade pretty quick even with better quality heat treated and higher grade steels. I saw this and figured I'd try it. I saw the O-knife and didn't like how square and small and blocky the handle was, other utility blade knives don't give you the full length of blade to use which makes cutting anything other than boxes impossible. I got this knife and have been carrying it every day for over a year, I've probably taken it apart for a deep cleaning 3 times. There's basically no sign of wear anywhere on this knife. It still looks and feels like it did out of the box. A year of mud and dirt and pocket lint and abuse every day and it's still getting compliments. It has a butter smooth button action, nice satisfying flick, and it's easy enough to take the blade out with a torx 8 bit. Great utility knife if you don't want a big block of plastic in your pocket, and need more usable blade length.
