I love the off the leash daily cartoons that I get on Facebook everyday. Rupert's drawings are funny and most of the time I can relate to the home situations he draws. When I saw this book I wanted to buy it because I wanted to try to draw my dogs in daily situations like his cartoons as I cannot afford to have an original made by him. The book is great. It covers everything you need to know. The author teaches you about all the little details one should pay attention when trying to draw dogs. The instructions are clear and objective. He really shares his drawing technique with the reader. I had the impression (from the book's content and information) that the author really want us to thrive and have fun drawing dogs. I really appreciate that as it shows he cares for his audience. I will not doodle on the book as I want to keep it like new, I plan to use a blank sheet that I could frame later on at home.
