Silkland Certified HDMI 2.1 eARC/ARC Cable 3.3FT, Ultra High Speed 48Gbps

I purchased the Silkland Certified HDMI 2.1 Cable Ultra High Speed 48Gbps Braided HDR 6.6FT to replace an old HDMI cable to connect my Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) to my Samsung MU8000 (4K). After comparing different lower-cost cables on Amazon, I found that this one had exceptional specs and reviews. Being on sale was an added bonus! The results were BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED. The picture was so clear and the audio blew me away. The quality, range and detail in the sound was incredible. I enjoy loud action and sci-fi movies and listening to a wide variety of music. My setup is an HK AVR1700 connected to a pair of Klipsch Synergy F-30 towers, a Klipsch KW-100 10-inch subwoofer, an Infinity Alpha center channel and a pair of Realistic Minimus 7 (circa late 1980s!). My center and rear channels never sounded so full. This cable comes in two colors (black and grey). The cable itself is black. The only difference is on the connector covers. The cable is braided and has a professional appearance and feel to it. If you are looking for a new cable to use or upgrade your current setup, I would highly recommend this one. It has an outstanding performance and a fraction of the cost of a cable from a high-end manufacturer.

Cord perfectly connects my mac mini and monitor. It's a great length (and I really appreciated that it comes in multiple lengths). It is 1000x better than the cord that came with my monitor. I experience no lag, the connection fits snugly (that was the biggest problem with my previous cord...it kept coming loose). The cord feels heavy duty, so I have no worries about needing to replace it soon. Overall, this is a great value, and I'd highly recommend it!

I recently built a new home theater using 8 Klipsch speakers, a Denon AV receiver, and a Samsung 85 inch QLED TV. Everything looks and sounds amazing. However, the eARC channel between the TV and the AV receiver would not work correctly. I initially tried 3 different brand new HDMI cables from various manufacturers. All 3 of the cables "claim" to be certified HDMI 2.1 with ethernet, and will run 8k video and eARC. However, in reality none of the 3 HDMI cables would work correctly. Either the TV could not detect the AV receiver, or when it did the sound would cut out intermittently on the left and right channels when a connection was actually made. Also, the highest video resolution I could get was 1080p @ 120hz. I tried doing all of the TV/receiver resets, power down, and unplug and remove the HDMI cable tricks, and nothing would fix the HDMI eARC connection issues. All I could get was 1080p @ 120hz resolution and sound through the AV receiver only, unless I used the internal TV speakers when watching OTA antenna signals. That's not very good sounding, if you know what I mean. I initially thought, so much for having eARC and high resolution capabilities, and I resorted to using a digital optical sound cable between the TV and AV receiver for about 2 weeks. This worked fine for OTA TV sound, but I still had no eARC or HDMI control between the AV receiver and the connected peripheral devices. After 2 weeks of this "minor inconvenience," I figured what the heck, let's try one more HDMI cable brand. That's when I purchased this 6.6 foot Silkland HDMI cable. As soon as Amazon delivered this Silkland HDMI cable, I unpacked it and plugged it in between the TV and AV receiver. Wow, what an immediate difference. As soon as I turned eARC and HDMI control back on in the AV receiver, the TV and receiver communicated, and the eARC connection was completed. I now have perfect eARC functionality, 4k @ 120hz video, and total HDMI control of all of the peripheral devices. This Silkland HDMI cable works so well that I purchased 2 more Silkland HDMI cables to use to connect the Roku Ultra and Sony Blu-Ray player with. The turntable is connected to the AV receiver via RCA cables, so no HDMI cable is necessary for that connection. Needless to say, I am very impressed with these Silkland HDMI cables. They actually function as advertised, and do it very well. Honestly, I have not tried viewing anything with 8k resolution yet, so I cannot attest to those claims. However, these Silkland HDMI cables work perfectly for my specific A/V requirements. Just be aware that these are thickly shielded, well made HDMI cables, which makes them a bit stiff if any tight turns need to be made.

I only write reviews when I’m dissatisfied or extremely impressed with a product. This one I’m extremely impressed. I was running what I thought was a high-quality HDMI cable on my Xbox X. However, I was getting frequent periods of the screen going black for 5 to 10 seconds at a time. I initially thought this was an Internet speed issue. After much research, I learned that it was a rendering issue with the HDMI cable. I bought the Silkland ultra high-speed cable and the difference was exponentially better. The image quality was immediately noticeable and I no longer have blackout periods when it’s trying to render the picture. Highly recommend. 👍🏼

Easy to install

Came really fast. Just what we needed.

Premium HDMI cable. Works clear and fast. It is a tested and certified cable, which helps. I learned something very profound when I installed this new ultra cable. It actually matters which HDMI port you plug your UHD video stream into. For my Samsung 4k TV it is HDMI 1. The other 2 HDMI ports on the TV do not support 4k UHD video, which was news to me.......So make sure you plug this into your most high definition port whether it be 8k, 4k, or 2k. I do recommend this cable to the uninitiated.

Packaged very well. Easy to install. Great quality. Cord is not heavy but durable. Strong connection. And great fit for all my TV’s and devices. Will purchase again!

Having recently upgraded to a new TV and surround sound system, I started noticing glitches in both the picture and sound when using my 4K UHD Blu-ray player and PS5. I didn’t spend all that money to be getting a less than perfect audiovisual experience! It turned out that the old HDMI cables I was using were no longer up to the task of handling the high-bandwidth data transfer between my various equipment. After considering various options, I realised that although it was important to have HDMI 2.1 standard cables for my current and future needs, there was no reason to pay a premium price for good performance. I decided to try these Silkland HDMI cables as they have a lot of good ratings and reviews on Amazon and were available in a variety of lengths. The cables arrived in durable but easy to open packaging. I have found the braided construction of the cables to be sturdy and resistant to wear, while the HDMI connectors are well-made and fit securely into all of my devices. The cables are sufficiently flexible to allow me to loop them through the back of my TV stand and to daisy chain my Blu-ray through my sound system and into the EARC HDMI port of my TV. For my setup, I found that the 1 metre cables were perfect for shorter connections, while a 2 metre one is useful for connecting my PS5 which is on its own stand so is a bit further away from the TV. Since installing the Silkland cables, my viewing and listening experience has been excellent. The 4K UHD Blu-ray picture looks flawless even when using higher bandwidth features like HDR or Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos sound is now as it should be and my PS5 can now output at a smooth 120Hz frame rate without upsetting my TV. There are so many HDMI cables of various brands on the market that it is hard to be sure whether these Silkland ones are the best of all the options. But they have performed flawlessly and my picture and sound quality are now perfect, with no glitches. I’ve relegated the old cables to the TV in my spare bedroom! Top marks from me for this excellent low-priced quality product. Highly recommended.
