For use with small parts. For hobbyists
It's true that this product received a low score, but I still ordered one, and I'm satisfied. It needs a little oil, (I recently received a product that was swimming in oil, I had to wipe off a huge amount, not nice), overall, for the price, there's nothing to complain about. Does the job, that's what matters.

Works, but
It does work, but initially I was going to return it because it was impossible to get the threaded drive to move the holding part. It is supposed to turn via a smallish knob on the end of the tool. I could barely turn the knob using pliers. While I was boxing up the device to return, I thought maybe I should try some WD-40 on the threaded rod where it is housed in ends and middle of the device. That worked and I could get the threaded rod to turn easily with the end-knob; that moved the middle hold-down section so it would secure different sizes of wood. I decided to keep the tool but gave it a slightly lower rating. Frank in Eugene, OR

Holds tight
A definite finger saver. Holds work stock strong. Made from quality materials. Clear guide piece rides on fence and allows seeing the cut as you go.

Takes some work to make it usable
I almost returned it. It would not clamp securely and the threads would bind when loosening or adjusting. The threads seem cut very roughly. I used some lubricant and worked the clamps open and closed multiple times before it started to work more smoothly. It should be a good tool but I suspect poor quality control has rendered this tool all but useless.

Works great
Easy to use! Good value especially considering the safety aspect of managing routing/cutting of small stock.
