Adjustable Weed Burner

I have used weed burners for about 30 years. Varying from the very simple umbrella shaped handle butane ones. (about as much use as a chocolate tea-pot) to high pressure propane guns similar to that which is used by roofing contractors.I've also used paraffin powered burners. These more powerful types as a professional gardener for weed control/land clearance without chemicals.This gun is different and is suitable for the amateur to use. It has a reasonably powerful flame which soon "goes off" due to the rapid gas evaporation. I recommend having two cylinders so that when one becomes very cold you swap it for a warm one. Keep the cold one in a sunny place. It won't explode. You do not need to fully burn the weeds at the first pass, simply heat the weeds until the leaves change colour and wilt. After a few days return and you will see that they have died. Then burn the residue. Grass is very difficult to remove, it will need several passes or unfortunately treating with a systemic herbicide such as Glyphosate and the dead grass will then burn easily.. It's not worth wasting gass on grass. As a retired Head Gardener I can recommend this product if you don't try to incinerate weeds in one go

I like the feel of it in my hand and the built in lighter is really helpful.The gad canisters are easy to change however, at the rate you are likely to burn through them you will need quite a few im stock.Works best in dry conditions and with little or no wind or at the start of the growing season before weeds are well established

It's a good product it does what it says kills weeds some need doing more than once

Not the most powerful but worth the money

Excellent for lighting bonfires at arms length in braziers. Very powerful. Adjustable burn rate.

This worked brilliantly at first, but, I have just suddenly found that, after having used it about a half dozen times, when I tried to use it today the ignition will no longer work. It clicks and sounds like it's igniting, but nothing is happening. That's incredibly poor that it would fail after being used only a handful of times - now I'm left with a worthless piece of metal.Update - bought a replacement. Exactly 30 days after I first received it, it stopped working - this time it is failing to deliver gas through the wand. Very disappointing as, when it did work, it worked great. Shame - just poor quality.

Nice torch but only sparked once now using a separate lighter. Sad..

So easy to use. Accidentally left it out in the rain and it still works perfectly.
