Exceptional Quality and Timeless Style
We bought for my Dad for Christmas and this watch is an absolute masterpiece. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a high-quality timepiece. The craftsmanship is impeccable, with a solid stainless steel case and a beautifully detailed dial. The luminous markers and hands make it easy to read in low light, and the bezel clicks with satisfying precision. It’s as functional as it is stylish, with impressive water resistance and a reliable movement that keeps perfect time. Whether you're diving or just dressing up for an evening out, this watch is versatile and eye-catching. It easily rivals more expensive brands. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a premium watch without breaking the bank!

Very Very Nice Watch!
I had read and watched all the online reviews about the quality of San Martin and decided to try one of their watches. I must say all the accolades are not hype. This is an excellent watch! Irregardless of it being an homage to probably the most recognized watch in the world it can stand on its own merits. Construction, fit, finish are on a par with watches costing many hundreds more. I have an original GMT and side by side the SM is quite lovely. No it's not a Rolex, but then again their prices have gone through the roof. I also have Steedive and Addisdive watches and the SM is noticeably better quality. Additionally I also own several Victorionox and DOXA watches and this SM is a very competent rival. The Seiko NH35 is a solid movement easily serviced by any competent watch maker and mine maintains a measured +1.2 Seconds a Day accuracy which actually is well within COSC chronometer standards. One note if you do need to resize the band SM uses a system of a pin inside a sleeve. My watch came with a pin pusher, not the greatest but it would do the job. Mine also came with the standard clasp however, the SM website says they are now shipping the Black face with their new Fly Adjustable clasp which would have been nice. If I every decide to swap those are available from SM. As several reviews state it is an impressive watch for the money no matter where it comes from.

Great homage with a few miscues
Looks like the model it pays homage to from afar. Great movement and power reserve, +2 spd on the timegrapher. Only gripes is the 6 PM marker is slightly slanted so a bit of a dig on the qc department. Case and bracelet edges a bit on the sharp side, but overall a great buy.

solid watch
first off I have over 20 watches, many are cheap and some are thousands.... Even have a 41mm Datejust. The San Martin bezel is solid, it keeps great time and I have tested the movement and its pretty accurate. My crystal is aligned properly and it lays flat. The band links have min to almost NO play. I keep it in my case winder and aling with much more expensive watches and they all sit at same time as I check them weekly to see if they are losing or gaining time.. I would recommend this watch.. for the money I will say it is built better than many other most expensive watches.. The movement is rated for 5-25 years...how can you go wrong? plus its stylish and gorgeous with clean lines...

Very nice
I really like this watch. I have another in green and black. It's a light weight watch about 150g. It comes with a ceramic bezel and sapphire glass. The case is well finished but does not have a signed back, which neither does the watch it is paying homage to. It does have a signed crown. The bezel is perfect, has a wonderful click without play, and aligns perfectly. The only critique that I can possibly hand this watch is that if you if you rub your fingers under the corners of the case they are sharp and not smooth. It's shocking that China can pump out watches of this caliber at this price. You can buy other models of this watch but they get heavier as the bracelet gets fancier. This bracelet consists of push pins with rods that they slide through. It can be difficult to manipulate without tools. I recommend purchasing a watch hammer to make things easier. Bang for the buck this model is the undisputed champ, and even if it cost twice the price it's still the one to get in my opinion. I feel so strongly about that I purchased two of them and will probably get the green on green next.

kind of what you expect
bads: poor lume, no blue anti reflective coating, slight play in crown (I have some other San Martin to compare)good: style and water resistant (small swim and beach)

Excellent Quality Watch, But Case Edges Could Be Smoother
I really like this watch — it’s clearly a high-quality piece. The craftsmanship stands out, and you can feel that it's built to last. That said, compared to some of my other watches, the case edges and corners are a bit on the sharper side. It’s nothing too serious, but during a busy day, you can definitely feel it on the wrist. Still, overall it’s a solid watch and a great value for the price.
