Q: What is the boil time for a litre of water please?

Don't know....but it seems pretty hot when connected to LPG from motorhome...seems to cook quickly.

Q: Do you have to store hot plates separately?

You can store the pan stands in the bubble wrap and leave on cooker. The plates can be stored in a pocket in the bag that comes with it.

Q: To what direction is the pipe of gas in coming out ? Its possible to turn it facing to the back of the stove to supply gas behind the table?

As far as we can see it will only come out to the side... I guess anything is possible with the correct fittings. Our flexible hose is long enough to put the bottle behind. In terms of storage, versatility and performance we think the Cadac 2 is brilliant. Test driving it now on a 6 week trip in Europe in our vw t5.
