Attracts a lot of different birds
Great Mix. I got pretty much every common midwestern bird at my feeder over the past year and they keep coming back. The only thing I’m not as big a fan of is some of the seed does tend to grow if it hits the ground below it. Not because it is growing, just because when I mow over it it makes a mess against that side of my house. Otherwise it is great and honestly I’ll keep buying it because the birds love it.

Best price per ounce I've found anywhere.
Better price per ounce than retail stores around me. Bag is inside a sturdy box made to fit so I buy three at a time and stack until used. I have used Kaytee Midwest blend for at least three years and the birds prefer it over other seed mixes. It attracts juncoes, various colorful finches, and doves. Even the nuthatches and cardinals will leave the safflower and peanut feeders to grab a few Midwest mix seeds.

WOW! Minnesota birds LOVE this food!
I went through this 7lb bag in about 3 weeks - the birds absolutely LOVE it, they go nuts! I can't keep the dish filled quick enough! I have really enjoyed the large variety of birds it attracted as well. I have probably had 10-15 different breeds come for this food. I ran out and temporarily filled a different seed and now there are less birds coming around. That just goes to show how much they love this particular blend (Kaytee Midwest Regional blend). I have ordered more, and this will be the seed I stick with going forward!
