Good little EDC neck knife.
OK so this won't be your main survival blade however, for it's size and features, your can't go wrong. At under $9 at the time of this writing, it's a very solid blade suitable for fine detailed bushcraft, as well as self-defense. It's small size and robust construction is perfect for a backup, to your main survival blade. The inclusion of the signal mirror, compass, fero rod and sharpening steel, makes it a multitool worthy of your EDC. I recommend the knife and will have it on me, all the time :)

Great Little Knife
Just received this awsome cool neck knife, the steel isn't the greatest but certainly not the worst I think it's perfect for this knife, haven't used thr ferro rod, sharing rod or the compass it personally wouldn't bother me at all if they weren't on the sheath. The knife and stealth are solid the knife really clicks in tight it and will not come out of that sheath nice solid stout built knife and for the money you cannot beat it. Very sharp out the box won't have any problem keeping a sharp edge on this knife. Love it.

Handy!!
Not a bad little neck knife. Lightweight but in all pretty well made. Great for the price.

Perfect for EDC!
Very nice knife. Small but robust. Arrived shaving sharp. Compass has a tiny bubble but reads dead accurate. Received mine with paracord instead of the ball chain in the description. Excellent combination of features. I have added a Cyclops hat light to the end of the sheath and as soon as I can find the a whistle that will attach conveniently, i will have a complete setup. It is undetectable under my shirt and I forget that I am wearing it. It is now part of my regular EDC. I am very pleased with this purchase and the value.

Nice, compact, but not very sharp
I'm sure that with the proper sharpening it could be sharp, but it's not out of the box. But it's compact, has a cord, and could be functional with a good sharpening.

Great Daily Carry Option
The compass is a bit of a gimmick, but on the under/reverse side is a flip-up signal mirror so that redeems it right there. Very solid knife, thick blade, full tang, index finger groove under and ahead of main blade surface. Used it many dozens of times since purchasing for dealing with cardboard and stubborn/stuck screws. The sheath has ferro rods, but don't count on these throwing sparks unless you have very good conditions and alot of time. The necklace bit is probably the best part, being very strong cord, probably not paracord, but something close.

Awesome little knife
I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it. The compass is very accurate, but just as another stated, either take the knife out for accuracy or remove the compass. (It actually comes off and there is a mirror on the other side to use as a reflector to signal with.) It’s very sharp, it gets a great spark, the sharpener is decent. I was worried about it staying in the sheath but it stays in place very well. All around it’s a very decent knife and my son was absolutely thrilled to get it.

Good value but no ferro rod
There is no mark on the blade indicating steel type but the Survival Frog website says it's 440C. If so, that's great, but have my doubts. It is full tang so it is very rugged. I assumed the "fire starter" rod was a Ferro rod, but mine is NOT. Zero sparks. It appears to be a soft magnesium rod that shavings can be easily scraped from for tinder. That is useful also. The knife sharpening rod appears to be diamond coated and rather coarse. It would work well for resharpening a really dull or chipped blade but not to put a fine edge on it. That's fine for survival situations. The compass easily hinges up and contains a small mirror behind it. Might be useful for signalling, or for finding ticks on yourself in difficult to view locations. Mine came rather dull, but I expect to have to sharpen any new knife when I get it. For the price, it appears to be a good deal. UPDATE: Well, I sharpened it to "shaving sharp" and it took a while. I was surprised how hard the steel was. I have no doubts now that it is probably 440C with a good heat treatment. It seems to have a much greater hardness that the typical Chinese 5Cr13Mov cheap steel used in a lot of small knives. It was not easy to sharpen but that means that the edge retention should be great. I'm impressed!
