UPINS 2 Pack Guinea Pig Hideout, Washable Small Animal House Bed

We tried this design because the "strawberries" (soft huts in the shape and design of a strawberry) the pigs love are great, but take FOREVER to dry after being washed. (They also have lost much of their structure and sag a bit after multiple washes.) These huts haven't been through a wash and dry cycle, so we can't comment on durability, but we'll update the review with that info. Nobody has tried to chew on these or eat the foam, but the interior seams do show. (See pic of interior corner.) It took a little time for the pigs to trust them, but after placing a piece of fleece on the floor which had their scent, they really took to it. We got the larger size, as our pigs are average-sized adults (Penelope has the white nose), and our big fuzzy boy (brown agouti pig) has a serious waistline. It fits one pig with lots of room to spread out and turn around. I think they could accommodate two adult pigs (if they are friends and agree to share) comfortably, and even three or four youngsters (again, with friendly negotiation). The gray and blue-green outer covers are cute and the low-nap velour interior is easier to clean (brush out poop, hay, etc.) than faux fur or boucle fleece versions. The price for these is great, as well. The two-pack helps with swapping out for wash and dry cycles. I recommend these for pigs, and will update the review with info on durability and ease of washing/drying. Enjoy!

My rats love them. Although they have literally chewed them to pieces in just a couple weeks. Unfortunately that’s a rat thing. But they loved sleeping in them and ripping them apart

Honestly I love these, but there’s two small things & I’d give 4.5 stars if I could instead. #1 One of the two of them had a small rip in the seam, not big enough to cause any kind of stink. #2 I was hoping they’d be a little more sturdy. That’s all, the guinea pigs love them, I’ve done a few washes & they held up just fine, although I suspect over time they’ll misshapen. I wash our pig beds frequently. You can see in the photo how it’s started to change shape, but with how sturdy the sides are I suspect it will be a non issue in the long run. *Don't mind cocoa I woke her up when I turned the camera on :)

Way too big for a teddy bear hamster. Might be good for a guinea pig or chinchilla. Cute patteren. Outside quality great, Inside the sewing quality not good -foam/material exposed at seams.

Very nice well made and big. I was surprised at the quality and I wash and dry them over and over and still look brand new.

Ich habe vier davon, weil sie so gerne in Beschlag genommen werden und öfters gewaschen werden müssen. Bei Lieferung dachte ich noch: Au weh, die Häuschen sind ja so platt! Aber direkt nach dem Waschen (vor Benutzung empfohlen!) haben sie dann ihre eigentliche Form angenommen. Inzwischen wurden sie schon mehrmals gewaschen, haben immer noch ihre Form und sehen noch aus wie neu! Ich lege übrigens immer noch ein selbst genähtes Pipipad rein, das ich mindestens 1x täglich auswechsle. Wichtig: Die Häuschen lassen sich sehr gut waschen (bei 40 Grad im Wäschenetz, flüssiges Sensitiv-Color-Waschmittel ohne Duftstoffe!), trocknen rasch und behalten auch nach dem Waschen ihre Form. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Great quality, wash incredibly well even inside a animal wash bag. Completely happy with our purchase even months later after regular use and washing still look like new! Brought these when the two “female” piggles we brought weren't actually both female. We brought to provide extra warmth and comfort to the newly separated piggies who were only 6 weeks old and now alone in separate cages. Despite separation same day, we ended up with a pregnant young lady and her little fabric house became even more useful. our young lady gave birth in it and raised three beautiful babies using it, they all now still use them but mum and daughters have one and dad and son the other. Both our girls and our boys love their little fabric houses and provides extra warmth when in their outdoor enclosures. 100% recommended.
