Solid and well made, it just works. Oh, and go watch the company's vids, they're fun. :-)
The item finally came in after being lost in the shipping system for a while. It feels solid and well made, easy to use, and no issues with the painted finish so far. It definitely feels like an heirloom item, an investment instead of a purchase with a countdown to replacement. We've popped a few batches now and it just works every time. Nearly every kernel popped and tastes great. Easy to disassemble and clean.

Great Popcorn Popper
I replaced an old less efficient popcorn popper with this one. This is stainless steel and much heavier than my old one. The pot heats more evenly and the popcorn pops better. This is an expensive popcorn popper but I felt it was worth the added expense. I am very pleased with this. The BAD is that after I bought this, the company sent an email advising that all of their products were increasing 15% due to “tariffs.” Sounds like a poor excuse to raise prices since it is made in the US. Very disappointed in the company.

It's truly a great product, but not for me
The product looks amazing. The packaging was fantastic. It even makes great popcorn, if you buy their prepackaged stuff. I found it to be too much trouble to use, and instead put Popsmith's prepackaged mixes into my microwave popper... and gave this one to my neighbor... who loves it.To be fair, my issue is more about my apartment's coil stove burner vs a gas stove burner rather than the Popsmith Popper.

Quality Doesn’t Live Up to Pricepoint
The first Popsmith I ordered had chipped coating on the pot and the lid. I exchanged it for another one, hoping that it was a random defect. The second one I received looked better, but still had chipped coating on the lid, this time by the handle. At this pricepoint, and for Popsmith to market themselves as a “luxury” brand, I expect better craftsmanship. The popper works fine, smooth operation and all the kernels popped, but I suspect more chips will appear over time with normal use, as it just doesn’t seem that durable. If there were another dishwasher safe, stainless steel option out there I’d return the Popsmith.

Over-priced and poor performance
Went from our aluminum Whirly Pop to this when we got a induction stove. Product looks so good and for the price I thought it would perform great as well. Followed their instructions and youtube videos and almost every batch turned out poorly. Extremely inconsistent performance. I thought it was merely because this our first time with an induction stove. Decided to try the Copper induction Whirly Pop and risk wasting more $$ and turns out the Whirly Pop is just flat out a 1000% better product design. And, cheaper!? Caveat emptor !

Great popper quality and works as good as it looks. Wish it was less expensive.
I'm a total popcorn nerd and was super skeptical about the price of this popper. However, it is better than I expected. Very solid and heats exceptionally even. The stir mechanism is very smooth, and the fit and finish of the lid is great. This is reliable and the best in the market of stirred pan poppers. The looks, finish and performance is better than any of the cheap competitors. Is it worth the price...no...will I probably buy another one as a special gift, yes. Is it better than a regular pot to pop corn in, yes. Easy clean up too. Highly recommend if you can fit it into the budget...

Needs instructions for using one’s own ingredients
This is a great popper, but there are no directions with the pan and none I can find on the website for how much oil and popcorn to use when you are using your own ingredients. I won’t buy their premade packages because of the artificial flavoring. Avocado oil, organic popcorn and sea salt are all I need for great popcorn. The first batch of popcorn I made turned out wonderfully, but I definitely wasted some kernels. I contacted the company and they got back to me very quickly. The answer is 2 tablespoons of oil and 1/2 cup of popcorn to make a fairly full panful.

Price, but I love it
Quite expensive (even on Prime Day), but I love it and it is solid. I had a cheap one for years and it was impossible to clean and flimsy. The yellow color is fabulous too
