Yeasty!!
This yeast is really “yeasty” Just make sure you use only HALF of what you would normally use - even says so on the package !! If you’re making pioneer bread in a Dutch oven - this yeast would be perfect for that as it makes fresh ground flour rise very well.

Under performance
Just opened this bag of yeast to make croissants. Pastries never did proof. Did a comparison test with another yeast product. After ten minutes of processing the yeast was only half the other product and had quit blooming. Maybe it was a bad batch. The one before this one was excellent.
