Elgato Prompter - Teleprompter with Built-in Screen for YouTube, Twitch, Zoom, MS Teams and more, Supports DSLR/Webcam/Smartphone, Drag & Drop Monitor Display, Works with Mac/PC & Stream Deck

Functionally, it is a fantastic device. All software glitches can be addressed. I am giving a 4-star rating because my display apparently became defective after less than 90 days of light use on a static desk (never moved around). Maybe I was not lucky with this particular unit. I am claiming warranty and hope to get it operational again.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this one has to be told. If you are planning to use the prompter especially with Mac, then you are going to have a frustrating experience with voice sync. It’s just stops recognising your voice on its own. It’s so frustrating to do multiple takes while recording videos, just hate it. Elgato if you are reading this, plz fix this.

I returned the teleprompter because it is extremely impractical to carry around. It’s a single, bulky piece, making it very inconvenient to transport. It doesn’t even come with the necessary mount to attach a tablet or phone. I returned the product within just a few days of receiving it, and more than two months later, I still haven’t received my refund! Extremely disappointing product and customer service. I strongly advise against buying from this seller!

I have struggled to keep on track with my videos narrative for a while, and after checking out some other reviews on the Elgato Prompter I decided it was time to take the plunge. Setup was easy, I am using it with a Sony ZV-E10 it unfortunately needs a different lens to clip the prompter directly to utilise the included accessories, but the shroud does a great job of keeping out external light. The quality is very good as you would expect from Elgato, and it works seamlessly, the unit connects via USB C to USB A on the PC end, this provides power to the unit. The Elgato prompter is good value when compared to units requiring a seperate display, initial impressions are good, but the software does take some getting used to, the Stream Deck integration is awesome and made it simpler to scroll through whilst filming, the AI narrative function I couldn’t get working consistently. Overall, very good initial impressions.

I got this so i could use it to read my scripts for Youtube. I struggled with memorizing the script when filming, so the Elgato Prompter is perfect for this! I absolutely love the voice sync function, makes reading the text on the screen super easy and natural. It was easy to set up and i also use the Elgato Master Mount for the Prompter and it works great!

Bought this for a friend who runs a consulting company. They are quite happy with it

Super produit.
