Turned onto the PF&H product from the guys over at the Fit File podcast. I'd been drinking the usual Gatorade mix and figured with the promo code I'd give this a try and see if was any better. And boy, my training has taken a big jump as a result.The mix of carbs and salts keeps me well hydrated and I can really supplement my gel intake with this drink. The flavor is very neutral and I can drink 2-3 bottles of this mix with no flavor fatigue. You can easily mix for what you need (more carbs for energy or less for more hydration) and I've noticed I'm significantly less tired even after longer VO2 max efforts.You get what you pay for. I'm only a recreational cyclist but I want my longer weekend rides to count. This mix from Precision Fuel really helps keep me focused on my training and not about how tired I am.

I'm a triathlete (4 Kona qualifications) and have experimented with many drink mixes. IMO Precision Fuel is the best of them. Its ingredients are maltodextrin (glucose in a longer molecular chain to minimize stomach upset & speed stomach emptying) and fructose. Research suggests that mixture with a 1.25:1 ratio of glucose to fructose digests much faster than either separately. I can absorb nearly 500 Calories/hour of Precision in long events. It also contains electrolytes, which I don't track closely as the research is inconclusive beyond that some sodium is beneficial in long, hot events. The glucose/fructose ratio is claimed to be 2:1, but the Nutrition Facts label lists 30g carbs & 12g sugars (fructose) so I believe it is a 1.5:1 ratio, which is near optimum. I find it to be soluble up to about 23 Calories/ounce of bottle volume (18 C/oz of added H2O). Be sure to use clear containers when testing solubility as I had a bad race performance once thinking that I'd consumed many more Calories than actually dissolved in opaque bottles. The taste is pleasant and encourages consumption. The only disadvantage is that it is expensive. I have been using Precision for racing and critical efforts and RAW for training. RAW has similar performance at just over 1/3 the cost per Calorie, but has a strong citric taste that slightly bothers my stomach when mixed near saturation on cold days and doesn't encourage drinking as much as I should. Precision could simplify my life by changing scooper size to have 100 Calories per scoop instead of 60.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I’ve tried a lot of sports drink mixes, and Precision Fuel PF60 has quickly become one of my favorites. It mixes easily, has a mild flavor that’s not overly sweet, and is easy on the stomach even during long workouts. The combination of carbs and electrolytes provides steady energy without the sugar crash, and I noticed I stayed hydrated and fueled on longer rides. If you’re training for endurance events or just want reliable workout nutrition, this is definitely worth trying.

The product is great, however it was shipped in a bag with other items that punctuated the 1 lb bag and powered was all over and inside shipping bag. I know it’s not refundable but come on Amazon rake better care of the shipping bags and why would you ship things together that will damage the other products.

As someone who struggles to consume a large amount of gels on a long bike ride, I purchased this drink mix because it serves a dual purpose of providing carbs for fuel and electrolytes for when I'm sweating. This drink is easy to take down and, while the flavor doesn't remind you of a specific fruit, it has a mild fruity taste. Only downside is that it's a little expensive per serving relative to other drink mixes.

Good flavor, GREAT electrolyte to carb ratio! Most other electrolyte-carbo drinks have too much carb to electrolytes and that limits a lot de usage of the powder because makes your water to sweet to be refreshing and implies the need to use electrolyte pills (witch I personally don't like).I would rather have a bottle full of electrolytes and some carbs that can easily complement with gels from my choice, and this product lets me do exactly that. Really recommend!

I was using electrolyeds and gels separately but this one is bringing both together. Taste is good and convenient for combo intake during long rides.

This is a great product and was a life saver when my husband was carb loading for his marathon. Easy to digest, mixes well with water and rehydrates along with packing a punch in the carb department. Taste is hard to describe but very similar to Precision Fuel’s original chews! A little bit pricey but good if you’re serious about carb loading and you’re fed up of bagels!
