Burpee Wildflower 25,000 Bulk, 1 Bag 18 Varieties of Non-GMO Flower Seeds for Hummingbirds and Butterflies

I am terrible at growing things. I'm so bad that I have never actually planted a full garden because I kill everything that's in a pot. I have even killed a cactus and a succulent. This year I just really wanted some wildflowers. So I bought these and wet my soil, moved it all around with a shovel. Threw the seeds out, and moved them all around with the shovel and then covered them with a layer of topsoil. It was the most random and thrown out thing ever. I watered them every single day until they had little sprouts. Which took about 2 weeks. From there I watered roughly three times a week. I live in the south and we are in severe drought conditions. This is the results 60 Days later. It is beautiful, and I love it. It is not organized, and they are a lot taller than I expected. But they are beautiful. If you can't grow anything, you can grow this.

Flowers for MONTHS! Planted these in early May, and 6 months later we still have tons growing. They peaked at about 2 months, but we have loved these. Lots of variety, we let them go wild and they grew huge and all different colors and types.

I seeded 2 bags of this mix the last weekend of June in Central Illinois following the directions on the bag, now at the end of August and this flower bed is teeming with pollinators. Germination happened very quickly within approximately 2 days. I watered these every morning on my way to work and every evening when I got home, just enough water to dampen the soil. I continued to keep them watered like this for the first couple weeks until they were established shading the soil themselves. I’m astonished by the explosion of colors, and variety of blooms. I’m equally astonished by the sheer amount of butterflies, moths, bees, and various other insects that have flocked to my yard. These have done so well, and are so appealing I plan on plant another large section of my yard next spring.

I was extremely excited to receive this bulk bag of Burpee Wildflower seeds, especially after reading so many great reviews from other gardeners. I love attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to my yard, so an 18-variety mix seemed like the perfect solution. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into pure disappointment.Absolutely none of my flowers grew. Not a single one. I cleared the area, planted them in full sun, and followed the package instructions to the letter, making sure to water the patch every single day. Weeks have gone by, and instead of a vibrant flower garden, I grew tons of weeds but not 1 actual flower. It is incredibly frustrating to put in daily effort just to cultivate weeds from a brand as well-known as Burpee.I cannot recommend this product at all. It was a complete waste of time, money, and water. Pros None: The seed mix failed completely. Cons Zero Flower Germination: Not a single flower sprout emerged from the 25,000 seeds.Contaminated Mix: Ended up growing tons of weeds instead of the advertised varieties.Wasted Daily Effort: Spent weeks watering a patch of ground in full sun for a terrible result.Final VerdictDo not buy this mix. It seems like the bag was mostly filled with weed seeds rather than actual wildflowers. Save your money and buy live starter plants instead.

Actually impressed! Not sure if any of it will actually be what they claim but it’s fun to find out. The first bag I got was opened a year ago and didn’t do anything. Then this spring I decided to just dump the rest of that old bag in various beds we have and watered and in about two days they had sprouts! So I actually ordered more for my garden and for my bff. It’s pretty dusty so I recommend using damp soil and mixing it in, it mixes very easily, and water especially the first day. After that they just sort of do their thing! So far a couple have bloomed and they look cheerful and healthy with more blooms starting. In my pics there’s sunflowers, gladiolus and snapdragons mixed in but the purple and blue flowers and all the fluffy green foliage is from this seed pack and planted about a month ago!

Holy moly, I live in Henderson, NV and these seeds grow like weeds! It looks like I have a big purple stemmed sunflower coming in. I have a bunch of little white flowers and some bigger pink flowers that have bloomed. Once there is more, I will update with photos! They don't have a weird smell and didn't attract any unwanted birds or pests. Seems like the seed is great quality. PS- I put them in a large planter and have had great success.

I ended up getting this bag of flowers for the hummingbirds and not really into butterflies but I love hummingbirds and we have hummingbird feeders. I planted this right above where all the hummingbirds come and finches and other birds we also have a bunch varieties bird that come. This turned out really great. The flowers were very high. I planted a little bit later in the season in June next year I’m gonna plant these in April, I ended up getting a bunch of bubble bees, cause it had a lot of sunflowers which has been amazing this year in the fall but all summer the cosmos were great and there was a lot of hummingbirds that enjoyed it also finches.

I planted about half a bag of these I think it was, at the front garden plot of our apartment building. The package said that it takes X amount of days to grow or flower. Something like that. Anyhow, the wildflowers grew like crazy in way less time and are very colourful and healthy! I do water them a lot so maybe that is why they grew much faster than it says on the package. I would recommend and buy again.

Not a flower to be seen, three months later when everything else is flourishing. Waste of money unless you LOVE clover .

Aucune fleur n'a poussé... Edit j'y connais rien aux fleure 😅 lorsquels ont poussé, tout le monde me demandait ou j'ai pris mes fleurs, elles etaient tres belles.

Je n'ai pas eu le résultat promis mais difficile de dire si cela et lié au produit. Je ferais une autre tentative l'année prochaine ave ,je l'espère, de meilleurs résultats
