Meta Unisex Ray-ban | Meta Smart Glasses

How well do I love these? This is the second pair of Ray Ban Meta Sunglasses that I've purchased within a month, and I'm not sure I'll stop at two. These sunglasses are beautiful, well constructed, super comfortable, and intuitive to use. I listen to audiobooks daily. I've done this for many years and have learned what type of buds/headsets works or doesn't for me. When I'm dog walking, shopping, or doing yard work, I'm always wearing a pair of ear buds or wireless headphones. When I'm outside I'm also wearing sunglasses, year round. 'Ambient' listening mode has never really worked for me. Especially when I'm outside, it seems I always have to remove my device from my ears to hear others. When my hands are full (yard tools or dog leashes/poop bags) this is a hassle. With built in speakers, the RBM sunglasses have eliminated the problems I have with ear buds/headsets. When a person approaches me I can hear them walk up and I can hear them when they talk. If I want to pause my audiobook all I need to do is tap the arm of the sunglasses. No more fumbling to pull something out of my ear, or worry than an ear pod might get lost from a pocket. Most importantly, I can hear street traffic while I'm listening and walking. And the sound is wonderful! The question I've been most asked about these sunglasses is, "Can other people hear what your listening to?" (One would think the worry of being photographed or filmed without your knowledge would be the top question. However, some of us, occasionally, listen to things we'd rather not shock others with.) I've shown them that even with the sunglasses at the highest volume a person has to get very close, like within 6-8" from your head, to hear sound and yet they may not be able to make out what's being said. (I've only used them at highest volume to show others the volume, I've not needed them 'loud' for my use.) Sidenote, when using the picture/video capture a light appears in one of the 'dots' on the frame so that those in front of you have an indication that 'something' is going on with the sunglasses. I've used the camera for both pictures and video, the sunglasses are designed so that the capture of either is very easy. Items captured must be uploaded from the glasses to your phone using the Meta app, it takes just a few seconds. Both look quite good considering they were taken by a pair of sunglasses. I'm not a content creator but I can see where these would be a handy tool for those who are. (I believe the software allows for direct upload to some platforms.) I use mine to capture moments on walks or projects in various stages around the yard. I've used them on calls and the person on the other end remark they can hear me clearly and much better than on my other devices, this has been when I'm outside where the environment offers up sounds such as wind, traffic, birds, barking dogs, kids at play, and so on. The initial setup to sync with cell phone is super easy and offers a short interactive demonstration on the various items the sunglasses are capable of performing. Since I'm an "Alexa" person, learning to say "Meta" has been a bit of a learning curve, but I believe Alexa is now available to use with the Ray Ban Metas, or soon will be, or you can set your phone to listen for Alexa. (I haven't dived into the hows of these yet.) My first pair of Ray Ban Metas were the Shiny Black with green frames, perfect for bright days. I ordered this pair for the lighter lenses so that I could wear them while shopping and on cloudy days. The Shiny Chalky Gray color is a color I've not seen in sunglasses, it's a great color. The only 'problem' I've encountered with these sunglasses is taking them off. I don't want to take them off!! Throughout my house I have speakers and devices that I can use to stream my audiobooks/music. These sunglasses are so comfortable, easy to use, and sound so great they've quickly become my favorite listening device. (Which is why I feel I 'need' another pair with clear lenses just for the house.) You're also able to have prescription lenses placed inside the frame. I wear contacts but occasionally opt for glasses, which gives me another reason to 'need' another pair. Or two? I'm retired, but if these had been on the market when I was working I would definitely had a pair that stayed on my desk just for work, they'd be perfect for an office environment. Both in looks and functionality. Overall, I'm beyond pleased with the Ray Ban Meta Sunglasses. My previously prefered sunglasses were near the price range of the Ray Ban Metas. I can't see ever go back to that brand as the Ray Ban Meta delivers everything I want in a pair of sunglasses and then go beyond that with their sound, their style, their comfort of wear, their picture/video capture, and their making/taking calls abilities.

The Ray-Ban Meta glasses are excellent. They were very easy to pair with my phone, and the setup process only took a few minutes. The design still looks like classic Ray-Bans, so they feel stylish and natural to wear. The features work smoothly, and the overall experience has been great. In my opinion, they are definitely worth every dollar. If you’re thinking about getting a pair, I highly recommend them.

Must have, stylish thought the lenses are not ideal for tons of son because they are lighter. They are comfortable and lighter than expected. The quality is impeccable, as with all Ray-Bans and I recommend them! Video and sound are impeccable, not to mention pictures!!

5 stars for delivery! 4 stars overall because it appears I paid for NEW glasses but I have received previously used glasses. I had to delete previous user and the box was not sealed (attached picture). The glasses themselves are AWESOME 5 stars AWESOME! The Fit and Weight are incredible! The sound quality and photo and video quality is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE these. I am Praying I don't have any issues due to previous use. I will update this review if I do. I LOVE taking pictures I can't wait to see the world through these glasses!

I absolutely love my Meta Ray-Ban glasses! They’ve truly been a game changer for my daily life with their seamless blend of convenience and technology. One of my favorite features is how hands-free everything is. For example, I was recently in a store trying to show my son some pastry options. Instead of juggling my phone and holding it up on speaker, I was able to leave my phone in my bag and use the camera on the glasses to show him the options in real time. It was so simple and efficient! The video calling feature is also incredible. I tested it on Instagram and had a fantastic experience. You can just chat away and use your phone as a sidekick, all while enjoying the freedom of not holding anything. Another standout feature is the translation tool. It’s a little slow, which is understandable, but still super quick overall. Not only can it translate the other person’s words right into your ear, but it can also translate your own words in real-time—making conversations with non-English speakers so much easier. It’s like having a built-in translator on the go! As someone who loves capturing spontaneous moments, the camera is amazing. I don’t need to worry about fumbling for my phone or camera to snap a quick pic. I can just tap the glasses and capture the moment instantly, especially with my active little niece who’s always on the move. I've also used these glasses for phone calls and Teams meetings, and the experience has been fantastic. People have commented that they can't tell I’m wearing anything or that I’m on a call. There’s no extra background noise, and I don’t sound far away at all. It’s really enabled me to take calls and attend meetings on the go, whether I’m walking around or multi-tasking. Plus, it’s great to be able to ask the glasses for quick info, whether it’s directions, weather updates, or general questions. It’s like having a personal assistant right there with me. Overall, these glasses are absolutely worth the investment. I can’t recommend them enough! Whether it’s for convenience, capturing memories, or staying connected, they truly do it all.

I ordered specifically for a trip to Spain, to make for easier work in getting videos and pics w/out having to thing about "where is my phone?' Purchased on June 13,2024, today is July 15, 2024, and my glasses are no longer working! They won't come on, or connect to blue tooth/internet. I hadn't had any issues up until the 13th when I attended a graduation party, and just assumed that I would be able to rectify the situation later, but to my disdain and disappointment, I have not been able to. There are no phone #s listed for customer service, so I called Amazon for assistance, they were unable to make an exception for return, but were able to find 3 phone #s to contact for possible help.(I'll call them shortly). The amazon representative was very helpful, and after a scavenger hunt of finding the phone #s she said that the her computer also suggested that she transfer me to another line which was supposed to be support for the raybans, but the agent who answered the phone wasn't able to offer any assistance, saying other than returns(which my window was closed) they didn't have any other suggestions, so basically, she was absolutely useless!!

I’m a wedding photographer and primarily use these for behind the scenes content, but I have to say I catch myself grabbing them when it is sunny out, too. The polarization is great, and I love that they are easy to use. The quality is also great, and I love the design of this model. I have also wore them while going out for a run and will listen to music which sounds amazing even over my heavy breathing. All around - a great pair of shades!

I bought these meta glasses and i love the quality of them. They are a perfect fit. The camera and video are amazing and clear. But, one downfall is you cant zoom in. The connection to Meta AI is great and so is the audio. The battery case last about 5 full charges and it takes about 30 mins to full charge the glasses. The glasses do die pretty quick though if used with music or phone calls. I would say they last about 4 hours of use on music and phone calls..

It dont have many languages selection at the translator! Also lagging the translator!

Love these glasses! I am enjoying the fact that I can go on adventures with my kids and capture the moments without having to get out my phone. The first person POV has also made some cool videos as well as being able to capture hands free.

for me takes some getting used to

I use them for recording puppy training or play. Love the bluetooth function in them! Video and pics are very clear. Mic is very sharp and picks up ppl talking at a fair distance. Speakers sound great. They arent as good as ear buds for music, but calls and video watching is very clear and crisp. People on calls have told me that the mic in a call sounds great and clear. I dont use the ai at the moment...
