Will they hold up if it touches the heat element on a toaster oven?

Mine have, but they did not sit on a heat element for any length of time. I have previously burned to a cinder a silicone holder that sat on a plate that was turned to high heat.

What are the dimensions of each pad? The package dimensions can't be accurate as they show 1.1 inch depth.

Not sure what you are looking at . . . the pads are about 7" X 7" and less than 1/4" thick.
