Fabulous colour and design

A beautiful looking kettle and toaster. Looks so stylish.

The kettle has replaced a similar kettle that started leaking. That kettle was from Dunelm. This is the same colour (cream) , seems a bit smaller and is a bit noisier but does the job quickly enough!

Great product a bit expensive but satisfied

Bought these as I seem to remember the name Salter being a good manufacturer. Not anymore. These are junk. The kettle is noisy++, takes ages and the toaster - even on maximum length of time in the toaster only produces pale toast. It also takes ages to produce that. Avoid if you value your time.

Decent kettle, does its job. The lid however is absolutely horrendous, really really really hard to pull off, it’s so tight. It’s also makes a really awful metal scratching sound that sets your teeth on edge! The minimum line is also higher than a lot of kettles at 0.7 5L. Also, be wary if you have it quite full because the water splashes out all over the place when pouring which is a little dangerous.

What a total waste with the toaster.Doe’s not toast at all. Only makes the toast hard. Avoid for anyone with denture’s.

Build quality is great, holds a lot of water. But absolutely awful metallic taste. No amount of boiling, soaking or cleaning with vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, etc will make it taste any better. Ended up having to reuse my old kettle as his one was just horrendous.
