Used it as a adapter and worked flawlessly

I need to scan my 89 Firebird. This adapter cable It doesn’t work. I have heard the pins in the connector are in the wrong location. I’m not going try and figure out pin location in connector.

Did not work. Would not power up the code reader to read the code.

Even though the cable for all appearances well made. Here comes the but. I plugged the adapter into my Innova 5610 scanner and plugged the other end into My 1994 Chevrolet Silverado step side. Nothing. Purchased the Innova adapter kit and it synced right up.

Didn't work for what we needed it for. 1992 Chevy Caprice with the OBD1 plugin
