This is a fascinating watch! Very unusual! However, when it comes learning its operation, you’re on your own. A detailed manual is included with directions for 13 models, this one not included. Once you turn the crown and see the movement, you will think “a ha!” No problem! The two steel balls are held in place magnetically. The inner ball indicates the minute, the outer ball the hour. There is no crystal.

Large face watch. You set the time and the magnetic balls keep time on the hour and minutes. So different and cool. A few things to note: although the description states that the watch is black, the straps are actually gray. Also, I believe it is essentially a men’s watch. As a woman, I did have to use the very last hole on the strap to fit my wrist.

This is a cool watch, but the outer ring should be for the minutes and the inner ring should be for the hours. Instead of just glancing at the watch for the time, you have to process what you see for a second. If the minute and hour rings were switched, it would be perfect. I would’ve given it five stars. If I knew it was set up backwards like this I probably wouldn’t of ordered it.
