Very classic .
Easy pattern . The pattern is about 7 pieces and it is Easy to cut out , although I have not sewn the dress yet . I’m excited to begin . I think a seamstress would enjoy this pattern . Not a lot of detail work .

Great pattern. I have used 5his pattern with stretch denim and a pretty ITY knit fabric. Vogue patterns fit me best with the fewest adjustments required.

Worth bringing back
I was very happy to be able to purchase this pattern, a classic in its day. I had the original pattern but the size was for a 20 something me. There are some simple changes in construction that I noticed in reading through it but I have not made the dress yet.

The best dress pattern to have on hand
These dresses go anywhere. The trick is to use the right fabric and change up the details to make them unique. This pattern is a great basic starting point.

Retro and current all at the same time.
It’s a reprint from 1972. It’s a Vogue pattern just as you would expect. I made the dress and love it so much that I just ordered the alternative version V2040 as well. Now my daughter wants one too.
